What I can tell you that we are actively working on maintaining top dps.
From our tests and responses single target is working excellent.
Regarding your question of ToTH we are planning to calculate this from your current multistrike since it will surpass lots of other spells when we have enough of it.
This is still a planned feature so don't count on it coming in the coming days tho!
For the moment single target trap is not optional.
It acts more like a filler into the rotation but if it would indeed be a dps loss it's an easy fix.
The AoE rotation is not bad from our testing group but it is not an AFK AoE rotation so to speak.
For the moment the AoE rotation requires you to do the targeting yourself to find the biggest group of enemies etc.
We are however getting lots of questions regarding this so are currently testing a more user friendly AoE option.
This will be an optional AoE setting where the CR will find the big clumps of mobs itself when AoE is enabled.
Multidot right now is when you have AoE enabled but are dpsing an alone target.
It will then find other targets for your arcane shot when your targets serpent sting have enough time left.
