So a quick view of the Ban section is showing that Blizzard's 'window' of scanning is either up again, or is still running and majority of the speculation can be thrown out the window.

It is strange that they are banning straight away (1-4 hours), normally they wait awhile and do a big hit so to reduce the possibility of figuring out how the detection happened.

HB really did piss Blizz off for them to be this aggressive.

From what I've read though, each account that has been banned has been running kick's quest profile to level with...

i've been running kick since last night, and i didn't get banned yet :) lol
it's been like 8 hours for me and it's still alright, just logged in to check if my acc is not banned, and im still fine...
if blizzard is banning ppl this aggressively imma kiss that game goodbye and delete it, i ain't playing the game manually, never ever...
lets wait and keep an eye on the bans section
 
It's hard to make a call because too many variables and pitfalls where Blizz may be reacting to stuff that is not related to the bot running but other flags, such as using the same payment method as other banned accounts. It could be IP related? Hard to know without collecting data.
 
I wonder in 2027 if WOW still be running? Or be old school game like Ultima Online that's been going on like forever.

Honestly, Blizz (GMs included..) have accounts here, they watch.. they are aware of the releases on new code. The other thing is people are stupid and Twitch stream, and post there e-peen on twitter which will also get flagged, and them banned.
Its not that difficult to create an account here :)

First rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club. Definitely don't take pictures or Videos of Fight Club.....
 
Just a hinter to the devs ..

Because blizz aint dumb and surely have their undercover agents everywhere ..

HB devs should use code obscurification, use very less dll libs
And always build an injection exe from scratch with a random hash everytime it gets started .. Maybe also different filesizes.. Different memory spots

Code obscurification to make it hard to reverse engineer .. Maybe updating
The obscurification on a weekly Basis

Random md5/sha/serial hashes to prevent hash pattern tracking..

If this has been with HB for ages then
Blizz hasnt detected bots via memory/process checks ..

And even if someone of blizz reads this,
they wont have it easy ..

Just an idea

And if the devs think this is too much to do, then be sure to be detected again.

And for the record .. I've known a cheat coder who then started coding anticheats.
He used a similar method ..

You could always create "Starter Edition" accounts under fake email addresses and run the crap out of Honorbuddy and test theories that way, I'm going to run a full account of 1-20's to see what happens.
