If I just bought another key for 3 sessions, can I add it to the key I already have and make the original key for 6 sessions? Just for making logging in easier?

i had a similar case long time ago and support helped me , you need to ticket them or send them an email and they will sort it for you

I bought a life time 1 session key back in 2014, but when I go to buddyauth and look under my active key it says: "it will expire on: 1/31/2024 8:08:34 AM". Which is weird because I bought it exactly at: "3/24/2014 8:03:20 AM", way before this announcement.
Moreover, the tab also shows "Allowed Days 3600", as can be seen in the file attachment. Can someone please explain this?

Thanks for all of the hard work you and everyone else put in on this bot - sure things aren't perfect but this is still by far the best bot you can get for WoW! I'm actually shocked you've kept the lifetime keys around for so long, looking forward to using this bot far into Legion and beyond thanks again for your hard work!

Now to buy 5 more lifetime keys quickly for my far-future raiding bots...

Seriously, though, thank you for keeping the existing lifetime keys the way they are. At least we get “vanilla Honorbuddy” and “veteran botters” this way who know what it was like back in the day. =)

I was going to buy a lifetime 1 session after I saw this announcement and was wondering if someone can help me understand, what does "3 sessions" or "1 session" mean? I can't find an explanation for it.

Sessions is how many HB's you can run simultaneously.
As stated by Raaz, a session is an instance of HB. If you have one session that means you can only run one instance of HB at a time. However, if you have three sessions that means you can run three instances of HB at the same time, or simultaneously. Multi-sessions are good for things like running your own five man team through dungeons. Of course, to do that, you would need to have five sessions of HB. I hope this makes sense to you.

I would also like an explanation as to why lifetime = 10 years or 3600 days.

Hi, Moireth,

Raaz and Zeldrak have provided fine answers. You can also find more information here:

Hi, Flacito and Swggg59,

This is nothing to be concerned about. For lifetime members, if the game client is still working in 10 years, the keys will be extended.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi Chinajade, thank you so much for the reply, I understand now. :) I can go to sleep without worrying after 2024! :D

If I buy 3 sessions key now and decide to buy another X keys for Y sessions after June 1st will there be the possibility to merge all my keys into one and have the lifetime license?

You will have 3 lifetime sessions and X timed sessions on your buddystore account.

Quick question. I bought a key back when it was 10 years, not lifetime. I think I remember reading that it would be considered 'lifetime' in the future.
Will it be considered a lifetime?
PO: 1/10/2012 (not sure if Jan 10th or Oct 1st :))
Days allowed: 3600

Just read posts above you, don't just post because YOU have a question...has already been asked and answered.

Hi, Jiniix,

Lifetime keys shows up with a "Days Allowed" of 3600. This is an implementation artifact. If the game is still going in 10 years, the key will be extended.

Thanks for the answer China. I did in fact skim the entire thread, but obviously missed the last part of that post.

Since the bot was introduced, we have added:
 • A full-blown questing bot (the bot was initially conceived and introduced as a grind-bot only)
 • Gathering bot (it was previously a distinct bot that had to be purchased separately)
 • Added Archeology, Fishing, Garrison, and Profession bots to the product
 • Added the Buddy Control Panel plugin
 • For each expansion, expanded the level questing pack to cover the new content
 • For each expansion, completely rewrote Combat Routines to address overhauled mechanics
 • Added dailies and other special-purpose questing for seasonal events, and do things like acquire special mounts and pets
 • Continously update documentation, and provide world-class support—unlike ANY of our competitors
 • Upgraded the bot to support native flying
 • Added hooks to the bots to support third-party extensions (e.g., quest behaviors, botbases, etc.)
 • Several hundred 'small' improvements, and many thousand bug fixes
 • Assure that our customer's game accounts are protected to the best of our abilities
 • Assure that the company will be here to maximize our customer's investments (i.e., defend against lawsuits rather than closing shop)
Not to mention you guys have awesome profile developers like Kick and EchoTiger who release profiles for current-content stuff almost immediately.
Like the Tanaan Dailies profile which was out less than a few days of the patch and worked 100% flawlessly. :D
