Honorbuddy price adjustment from June 1st 2016

I really thought it was going to go to a monthly sub when they finally did change it. But they know what is best for them. I support HB and it's staff 100% and am happy to keep going on with them. Love ya'll and the community here. The best!

a subscription model makes sense as a supplier. I think it's a good decision and look forward to further development. Thanks!
 
My only question is now that you are changing prices making it more expensive will the support get better and will the bot get better or are dungeons still going to take forever to get scripted? Knowing you never even bothered to script hfc lfr. will questing take a month or two to get scripted? will singular still be horrid? will cr's continue to be non existent? Only reason I ask is because you have to admit this bot has become second hand to current progression and if you think you are entitled to more money then aren't we entitled to a fully functional bot? not one that takes 2 days before a patch gets worked only because developers don't want to push for us to be up before eu. now while many of you will sit there and bash on this there are a lot of valid points to this and cant be ignored and they are harmless questions.
 
You're not entitled to anything. This is a product that you choose to buy. If you'not happy with it, you shouldn't have bought it. CR's aren't non-existent either, there's plenty on the buddystore.
 
It would be nice if this means there's more fund to do R&D on better security and safer bot. If this can be achieved, I wouldn't mind paying annual fee, it will still be very much worth it.

BTW, thank you for honoring the previous lifetime subscriber - much appreciated.

Correct—nothing changes except the pricing model.

We will continue to add value to the product for free, as we always have.

Since the bot was introduced, we have added:
  • A full-blown questing bot [size=-2](the bot was initially conceived and introduced as a grind-bot only)[/size]
  • Gathering bot [size=-2](it was previously a distinct bot that had to be purchased separately)[/size]
  • Added Archeology, Fishing, Garrison, and Profession bots to the product
  • Added the Buddy Control Panel plugin
  • For each expansion, expanded the level questing pack to cover the new content
  • For each expansion, completely rewrote Combat Routines to address overhauled mechanics
  • Added dailies and other special-purpose questing for seasonal events, and do things like acquire special mounts and pets
  • Continously update documentation, and provide world-class support—unlike ANY of our competitors
  • Upgraded the bot to support native flying
  • Added hooks to the bots to support third-party extensions [size=-2](e.g., quest behaviors, botbases, etc.)[/size]
  • Several hundred 'small' improvements, and many thousand bug fixes
  • Assure that our customer's game accounts are protected to the best of our abilities
  • Assure that the company will be here to maximize our customer's investments [size=-2](i.e., defend against lawsuits rather than closing shop)[/size]
Just because your pet bug/feature is not being addressed on the schedule you want, does not mean we are sitting still.

Why are you so full of vinegar? We don't believe you've EVER posted anything but full-tilt negative/whiny in our forums. Is that all you got?

To be honest, your continuous, unrelenting negative attitude is getting quite wearisome. The passive-aggressive techniques you employ are sophomoric and banal. You should dig deep and try to make a few bona-fide positive forum posts before the end of the year.

It has gotten so old, we will consider further negative posts by you to be 'trolling'. Consider yourself warned.

When I bought my lifetime, mesh 2.0 (or whatever we we're calling it) had not even come out yet. I believe after that is when we started getting questing. However it happened, I have received a large amount of support and continuous improvements since the time of my purchase. I am very thankful for the work provided by the HB team, and the support for continuing my lifetime key. I will continue to use your services, and I'll be sure to purchase more keys and more products to show my appreciation. Thank you, all!

Youre right, still LFR should be MORE supported (even old LFR raids not rly afkable because of < easy to fix > bot behaivior. I hope because of the new money, the bots get better.

Hi, Nuhll,

Older LFR raids are not supported, because they take too long to test.

Due to changing class mechanics and other factors, older LFRs have to be reworked from time to time. But, the queue times are just way too long to have a senior developer spend the time to correct the problems on content VERY few people will use. The developer's time is much better spent in other areas. As such, the scripts for older LFRs have been removed to prevent people from thinking they work, and are supported.

Dungeonbuddy is an open architecture on purpose. If the Community has enough interest, it can spend the time reconstituting scripts for the old content.

Dungeonbuddy (with LFR and Dungeons) are core product from honorbuddy and should get the love it needs. With old LFR i mean the current ones.

Also i dont think its currently possible to sell LFR over buddystore, am i right?

Thanks for all of the hard work you and everyone else put in on this bot - sure things aren't perfect but this is still by far the best bot you can get for WoW! I'm actually shocked you've kept the lifetime keys around for so long, looking forward to using this bot far into Legion and beyond thanks again for your hard work!

I'm curious, why change the price to something both us Vets and new people kinda fear. Given the detection banwaves over the past 12 months, have things really improved that much?

Seems like a bold leap.

Not complaining however. I'm glad too see lifetime subs staying the same.
 
Hi, if I buy a bot now. it will update (free) the Legion when it comes out ?
 
So if I want to buy another three sessions where do I go, I already have a 3 session lifetime pass.
