Dear Buddies,
You might still remember the time, back in June 2009 where we started selling the first Lifetimes for 60,00 EUR. The price as it was then, is still the same.
Since 2009 a lot of bots came to market and left the market, most of them could not stand up in the legal battles against Blizzard or were afraid to get into one and they closed.
We are still here. We currently have 2 cases at the Federal Court of Justice of Germany and 2 more at their doorstep.
However, we believe, that our business model with Lifetimes for Honorbuddy has to come to an end.
All existing Lifetimes will stay the way they are. As will all Lifetimes bought before 1st June 2016.
From June 1st 2016 we will change the prices as following:
1 Year 1 Session for 24.98 EUR
1 Year 3 Sessions for 59.98 EUR
1 Month 1 Session for 12.95 EUR
Thanks for your support over the last 7 years. You can discuss our decision here.

After June 1st, will it still be possible to upgrade from 1 to 3 sessions, with an existing lifetime key?
What happened to my Lifetime sessions?
- The 1-to-3 lifetime session upgrades (Honorbuddy, Demonbuddy) will be available until 1-Jun-2016
- After that, the upgrades will no longer be available.
Basically, after 1-Jun-2016, Lifetime sessions will no longer be available for purchase in any form.
What happened to my Lifetime sessions?
On 17-Jan-2017, Bossland GmbH made a post—[post=2375221]Important Change for Honorbuddy, Demonbuddy and HearthBuddy Lifetime Users[/post]—regarding changes to Lifetime keys. Follow up posts in the thread provide details as to how the situation must be handled. But basically, Lifetime session keys were changed to no longer work with Honorbuddy v3 two years after their first use with any Honorbuddy version.
When Honorbuddy v1 reached its end-of-life, Honorbuddy v1 lifetimes were converted to Honorbuddy v2 lifetimes free of charge. When Honorbuddy v2 reached its end-of-life, Bossland GmbH decided not to continue with that policy. As stated in the thread, Honorbuddy v2 is still available for use, but will not work with the newer (i.e., 'Legion') game content, and combat changes made to the classes. Honorbuddy v2 will still work on the server versions for which it was designed, and its lifetime keys are still valid.
Since a Lifetime license has always been the cheapest alternative after three months of use (vs. the monthly subscription license plan), the 'two years since first use' is more than generous, even if the bot is only used very casually.
