Just to give you an update on my side of the situation.
After many automated responses by Blizzard they just cancelled the whole ticket without a single reply. Even after mentioning the EU privacy law, nothing has been done about it. I have now re-opened another ticket with reference to previous one and in essence saying that they have no right to ban someone without giving a proper and detailed reason for the ban. The email I received doesn't even mention automation or bots, it's just a generalized email with a notice for a 6 month ban.
I can accept the ban no problem, after all, like everyone here, I knew the consequences of botting before doing it (and I needed a break anyway

). What I won't accept is the way Blizzard is treating their paying customers and just doing a blanket ban without any details on it.
