I hope you figure out what exactly happened so that you can keep up with honorbuddy project, I'm sad my account got banned, as I was quite found of my character and I'll miss it, but I already quitted playing wow two years ago and returned for wod. honorbuddy made many boring things of wow more acceptable and since I never got suspended before I somehow hoped for a sort of 3 days ban before a 6 months ban, but that's not the case... Anyway it's not your fault since we knew that there was this risk, I enjoyed programming my little profiles for hb and this is a great community, it's just frustrating to stop playing now that I was stating to find it interesting again... Well, I'm not alone as half of my guild got banned along with me, maybe we'll move to another game, who knows

If you use paypal blizzard automatically cancels the paypal agreement. You can also do it yourself.

Not sure if this can help you guys in pin ponting the issue of the ban but here goes I have 3 accounts in the past 2 weeks i have botted 2 of the accounts in BG's and monitored them at 100% and 1 acount was used to bot a leveling toon. The 2 PvP accounts got the 6 month suspension and the other one nothing at all its still running. So?? did it has something to do with the PvP portion of the bot?

It has something to do with all aspects of the bot. People have been banned that used the bot for every activity...Farming, leveling, raiding, etc....All facets have been banned.

TBH I don't think HB was detected, I think the bannings are from player reports. I have two accounts I was using to bot, one mostly never left the garrison (mostly garrison buddy and the fishing bot at the fishing shack) and another I was using to level characters via questbot.

The one that primarily used questbot was suspended for 6 months, but the one I used to fish was not suspended despite it being online probably 4x as often as my quest bot was. I actually did use questbot to level 2 toons in the last 3 months on my "fishing account".

I remember in the 06 glider banwave blizzard was detecting accounts for an extended period of time, perhaps 2 or 3 months, before they launched the banwave. They could have done something similar with player reports this time.

nope, 100% not the case.

I used bgbuddy, or anything else PvP-related the last time 3 years ago. And I didn't even do PvP during the last 3 years at all, neither with a bot nor manually.

Still got 6 months.

Funny the team closed my posts, said I was trolling, and was backed up by the swingers every time I asked why they aren't putting out a x64 client aaaaaages ago for this very reason. (And performande ofc, who doesn't like moor fps!)

Moot now, but I know why it happened. Yea I chose to bot so it ultimately lies with me, but neglect and greed led to it imo. Oh well. Finally decided against another wow account. Gonna pack up shop myself.

They've been killing the game for an extremely long time. Ffxiv I have a 50 of every job and same in Wildstar, now I have to decide which to go back to.

Or look at archeage I've seen a lot of ppl mention. It any good? Anyone in any hardcore raid guilds in any of the aforementioned recruiting?

Have you ever taken into consideration that maybe things didn't go as smoothly as HB stated in court. Maybe HB was forced to deliver there botting methods thus causing a complete wipe of hb. Everything is money based and maybe the only way HB could keep every cent they made was by delivering the method we used to cheat. This is of course just speculation so don't get all bent out on it. But honestly have you seen china or any of the others comment about this? answer is no you haven't. My guess is that the millions that HB made in order to keep they had to deliver all of us on a silver platter. Thus the reason why it all hit us in a matter of a day to wipe us. They didn't detect shit they were given everything to save the money they made and not have to pay back the millions to either Blizzard or all the paying customers. Take this advise or not but something isn't right about all of this I myself only paid for 1 key so its not a big loss and i was able to play a game that i hated once again. If i were you i would look into other games and other methods besides boss-land. why else would blizzard only ban us for 6 months right before the next big patch. think about it i would say goodbye to this game if i were you and to HB.
