Honorbuddy Bans Statement

IMO they could of prevented this by stopping PvP botters (stop auto queue).. they attracted the most attention as there was a post every single day in forums along with insane interrupts in arenas.

Hardly anyone botted dungeons/raids and was noticed in forums or from using combat routines or doing garrison as they were largely unnoticeable. Unfortunately the idiots who abused PvP bots IMO got the rest of us attention from Blizzard.. everytime a bot was mentioned in Blizzard forums it was "Honorbuddy".. nothing else..

Well I hope they don't go under.. have a lot more invested in HB/CR routines than WoW...
 
i am also banned for 6 months got the email at 20:53 last night i was already logged out at around 17:30 after taming loque'nahak and did not find out till i got up just now
 
Like i said they will loose way morer then that im guessing in the millions. over 200k bots with 200k accounts you all do the math they made a huge mistake.
 
And all aside we all got a massive bann and if HB is saying they are detected im sure it means we are caught doesnt matter what you did or done i have a friend who bots and hasnt since dec to jan and he got into his email today and found his accounts gone too so if you didnt get caught you will soon just sit back if you are done like me then say ty to HB and let it be that if not then gl the game has become dumb down for kids with all the crap selfies and twitter its garbage and time to find a new game.

Actually if you work it out blizzard will generate sales and it will work out to be a lot more than that, people will pay for new accounts, there is over 115 people with 6 month suspensions they are only some people talking your gonna have over a 1000 surely lol, your gonna have people paying to get to 90 so they only have to do 10 levels... Blizzard won't lose money from this, but long term they will lose more subs. If everyone did walk away then blizzard would start shitting them selves.

What on earth are you talking about? People will pay for new accounts?
I bet people will not even bother creating new accounts unless HB is working fine.
I can't even imagine playing this game without bot.
 
For me its the loss of friends more than anything. Now that my account is banned I have no reason to hang out with them. I have no idea what the future holds and I suppose that can be exciting. Thank you HB for everything you did for me. It was fun while it lasted. Just sucks that it had to end. I could buy another account and boost a toon and level to 100 then try to manually play my class. But I just don't think I have that desire. Figuring that out will answer my question. Just a shame.
 
Banned today also

Tried to log in today when I got home from work like usual and to my disbelief both my accounts had been banned for 6 months. I've had both accounts for close to 10 years and got caught I guess. It was fun botting while it lasted. The game is stagnant now with the implementation of garrisons. Nobody ever leaves there garrisons and its ruined the game imo. Im ready to bot a new game. :)

Ofcourse people will pay for new accounts... I think you will find your mistaken, wow is an addiction for most people, even botting has become an addiction, this bot will be back up it always has been... you people over react sure I would be pretty pissed not being able to play my account but guess what you get it back in 6 months, that is a lot better then having it closed, I would be hell grateful for that, if I was banned which I have not been yet touch wood, I certainly would pay for a new account because I want to bot, I love botting if I can no longer bot then yes I there might be a chance I would stop playing the game, but do you seriously think this will stop HB lol?

if HB is detected it will stop them for a little while. if the majority of HB supporters decide to quit because they can't play for 6 months then yeah people wont buy new accounts. most people have a money making business with these accounts/bots. some bot for pleasure. i botted for pleasure and i wont buy another account. ill either wait my 6 months or just quit. i quit for a year during panda. this may have done me in. im a 10 year vet

I got HB working about 3-4 weeks ago. I primarily used it to do garrisons (GarrisonBase), and did a little bit of CR in questing and LFR and Raids.

It was never on for more than an hour, no relog, and *never* unsupervised. Just a way to help deal with a 2 accounts and 20 level 100s and the stupid grind waste of time required to keep the garrison progression moving.
 
LOL I have been away from WoW for months. I quit around the time before the expansion. For some reason, I decided to reinstall it and play again, came here to download it and saw this thread. It breaks my heart. HB was my best friend for years. I truly hope the devs, however long it takes, are able to bring it back. If not, thank you, so much ladies and gents, for all the hard work you have put into this program over the years. It brought me countless hours of fun and made the game playable for me again. If this is TRULY the end: LONG LIVE THE KING, THE KING IS DEAD.

I played 10 years to but everyone is stupid to think they won't get caught infact I log in every day waiting for my ban, you basically agree to all that, it is no ones fault but your own, whether you choose to spend money to continue botting or not is your own choice or even playing the game legit there will be quite a lot of people with nothing to do who will simply by a new account, many people have been caught banned before this is nothing new, what do people create new accounts...very few do leave. If you read Boss Operator's post you will see some bot's had 2 detection's a year, the only thing that stopped them was either a court case or a court threats, HB team fights court cases:D they are not chicken shit!
