bullshit, I have a world of warcraft branded logitech keyboard that allows you to automate tasks with built in macros
 
I used a Razor Naga mouse with the keypad at my thumb, as well as a SteelSeries keyboard giving me another 2 keypads as well as macro binds via the software that comes with it. So when I was playing legit, I could have a billion key binds taht might as well have been a damn bot lol. Was great when I was using VuhDo addon as a healer. Nobody ever died in the dungeons/raids.

But, I got lazy and used HB and ended up being banned.

And yes, I did go buy another WoD bundle right away, however I got a refund on it as soon as my accounts got unbanned.
 
I do not think it is detection. Probably people farming for gold to buy WoW Tokens and exploiting economies by gold farming or AH botting. I doubt they are banning people for just leveling.

well I made like 2 million gold farming BOE from hm brf had BOE reserved in description. So don't know
 
I have been back for 4 days after a year layoff... leveled 1 toon with combat- transferred nothing, auctioned nothing - so it is definitely detection amigo. Also a friend had his 10 day trial account banned and he hasn't been on it in 3 days.
 
LOL next up people will be contacting the FCC saying blizzard shut off their communications with their friends!

Some of us seem to forget the Gilder times, or were not around in 2006-2008. With Glider you knew that there where 2 software detections a year, it just happened.

With Honorbuddy you thought that we are unbeateable, we never thought that, we've succeeded since 2010 - Honorbuddy had not a single software detection. It seems there is one now.

It also seems that Blizzard was really pissed at our first win at the court of appeals in Hamburg. It might have been coincidental. Nothing is for sure.

You ask yourself what happens next? For now we closed our Honorbuddy Authentication, when we know any more details we will inform you.

I am not really sure why Blizzard - while being against Bots ... - has only temporary closed the accounts, for 180 days.

My speculation is, that after 180 days it is 13th December 2015 - and a new WOW Add-on will be released. Who knows... the fact that Blizzard on the one side says "Kill all bots", and on the other side temporary closes the accused accounts, does not make any sense to me.

Icedragon - there is no such thing as a detection (in computers, medicine, etc) system that doesn't have false positives. If you truly have a banned account that never botted then appeal.
 
Well, thanks Bossland for make WoW entertaining for us.

Was great leaving my pc farming pets/mounts/gold while sleeping/working/studying :P, getting good performance in raids, going to mythic with a little effort...

I'm happy with all my investment in HB/CR's/profiles... Nothing it's for ever, they said!

HONORBUDDY TOTALLY WORTH THIS!!!


Blizz wants your life, HB gave it back!! :)

After they analyzed the numbers (Which I'm sure had to of been 20% of all current subscribers) they knew if they did terminate all the convicted accounts that they will lose that many more subscribers.
 
I got my 6 month suspension email earlier this evening. My main account. I only used HB to raid, never for garrisons, questing, farming, gold making, AH, etc. Nothing but raid. I've submitted an appeal ticket, but I don't hold much hope. Trying to explain to my raid team why I can't be there for 6 months is going to be challenging. But I knew the risks when I chose to use it on my main account.
Thank you HB/Bossland for making WoW fun again, if even for a short time. I look forward to coming back in 6 months to see something better. And I feel it will be, because of reasons mentioned such as time for a new expac, etc.

I got 6 month suspension.. I didn't use any afk botbase. I only used enyo and a CR that was paid. I didn't farm bot or use dungeonbuddy or bg afk farming.. All done with enyo so as much as people think HB wasn't detected I'd have to say it was if I was using enyo which you still move around and I also still pressed certain macros and buttons so the bot didn't do everything.
 
I am so done with this game.
Thank you Blizzard for letting me move on to the next stage of my life.
Now I am free.
