Dont disable it in BGs!! Beside the fact that you'd have to come up with a new name!!
Just disable full AFK in BGs - allow combat routines.
The one thing this might do is push people towards the unoffical versions of HB...as they might somehow enable it. Probably lots of people like me who never bothered since HB so cheap anyway but if another version has more features...

While I'm OK with this bot being disabled for Arenas (most player reports come from VERY angry players in 2s and 3s anyway), HB should NOT be disabled in BGs and RBGs. I hated the absurd amounts of BG bots bringing attention to HB just as much as anyone, but this banwave was NOT a result of people botting BGs. Anyone with half a brain knows that.
HB got so embedded into Rated Arena play that Blizzard had to act, so given that's now out of the picture. please, please make sure this is still supported in RBGs. The PvP CRs and all Gladiator Suites are solely designed for rated play, and they are very costly when supporting more than two alts. RBG scripts have been under the radar for years, and RBGs in general aren't taken as seriously. HB has nothing to lose by continuing to allow BG and RBG use based on the lower amount of players going for those rewards in general, and let's face it: Blizzard ignored the BG whiners for years because Random BGs are and always have been a stepping stone to the end game. Players and bots alike get recycled in and out regardless.

Then stop the AFK botting in Ashran and Battlegrounds, the #1 complaint and most visible of what you do. Anything manual is always going to be the hardest to spot. Allow it for arenas and BGs ONLY if movement is disabled. This is reduce the visibility that you are looking for and still provide your client base the ability to play what we paid for. I think this would be fair for everyone here and it would take the biggest source of reports against botters away.
Any pvp should now refund the HB key since they stop us from using it for pvp

You joined in 2011, so I can assume you got about 4 years of gameplay out of honorbuddy, its payed it investiment plus some. Honorbuddy still works for other functions other than CR's.
Besides, this isn't depriving you of your mode of gameplay, you can either play manually or find another bot that supports PVP.
They only disabled arenas. You can still play PvP in Rated BGs, normal BGs, open world and Ashran
you are living in a fantasy world if you dont think the vast majority of ban reports don't come from AFK BG bots. Its also the source of the most forum posts and so on. When a 15man BG has 50% bots there is a massive issue that blizzard has to deal with. It is much harder to detect in arena with manual play vs in BGs where you have multiple bots all pathing the same ways, etc...

You can, you paid for HB and HB will still be probably working.
Tbh even if HB will not be working anymore, you already received for what you paid - lifetime HB (lifetime is lifetime of bot, not yours lifetime)

We NEED THEM routines combat arenas, Blizzard will give equal sands, not only care about gold farming.

it all impacts gameplay. its a bot...
Winning in court feels like a plea bargain...
oh well there wil always be someone giving arenabots anyway.
i just hate the fact we bought (lifetime support ) on arena profiles that will not be supported.
feels life a scam right now. so i think asking a refund isnt to much to ask as they cant deliver what was promissed

I seriously wish they would ban BG botting.
If you go out into the wild and use questing botting, 99% of the time it does not affect ANYONE at all but yourself. When you go in BG its a serious nuisance to other players. For that reason I think this is why the banwave came down.
