[Official] Honorbuddy and Arenas

So instead of finding a solution to this you just disable us to use bot in Arena. What is next, disable us to use the bot in raid? grinding? I rarely complain about things. But this sounds like a lazy decision from you.

you also wrong pve routines wil always exist you have another program like soapbox they also only support pve routines that is not something what wil go away.

No in pve you're gaining an unfair advantage against other players as well. 1) if you weren't botting your raid spot might have went to someone who knows how to play their class. 2) you botting in pve is taking gear away from players in your raid group that are playing manually 3) pve botters getting banned have a bigger impact on guilds and raid groups as they can lose core members they depend on.

If you think PVE botting is oknp not hurting anyone then you're a moron. Botting is botting no matter what you're using it for it is giving you an unfair advantage over other players.
First off, if a player is looking to fill a raid spot, they will fill a raid spot. It has never been an issue for someone to find a raid team that needs a tank/healer/DPS. You aren't taking a raid spot from someone else. Secondly, PVE gear is by chance and does not involve the bot, while you used a bot to down the boss, it does not ensure you get gear. The other players have just as much of a chance to win the gear as you do. Lastly, while PVE botters getting banned may have a larger impact on guilds and raid groups in a whole, the likely hood of detection (which is the topic here) is slim to none as long as you are playing smartly. PVP on the other hand directly effects the opposing players experience and is far more detectable.
so we get our money back for all pvp crs? ohh bossland i think you will loose to much money..

Most likely, you are not getting a refund fromm Bossland or any of the CR creators.

Because PVP has been the Largest complaint against HB. Lowering the radar on fairness will do the majority of users the most good.

This. Hatred against the Arena bots was so enormous that Blizzard had to act, so I fully support Bossland's decision on this matter.

Not quite true. They concentrate on PvE but they do not disable routines from working in arenas or anywhere for that matter.

And you think that this is the reason for the wave? Amazing. *shakes head*

Probably yes, why there wasn't banwave in last few years? Blizz wasn't even trying to detect HB. There wasn't update in Warden for many years. They started with trying to detect HB only in last few months probably based on complains on forum

Anyone using a bot is creating an unfair advantage over other players. You can try to justify PVE botting all day, but in the end it's no different. You are using elicit tools to gain an advantage over other players, stop pretending pve botting is some noble cause.

If it will be disabled also for battlegrounds how about refund for bots/plugins made just for BG's and routines like Gladiator Suit which is developed also for PvP?

No, just...no. Seriously, as long as you seem to have been around only on even these forums you *should* know better than that.

We have just had a banwave. Part of our strategy is to reduce the profile of Honorbuddy users so that our bots are harder to spot because that makes us a smaller target. Disabling Honorbuddy in arenas is part of this. We are also disabling PVP in the trial versions of Honorbuddy as part of the same strategy.

Every single b*tching person should read what developer of "other bot" said about this BEFORE this news from HB team

This is NOT quote for Honorbuddy, it is quote about other bot
I do not develop, or support development on anything thats intent is to directly impacts the gameplay of other players. I am not sure what about the HB ban has all the sudden made everyone a "Warden Expert", but I do things a certain way here for a reason, and it has worked quite well so far.

Its not just about having protection, its about not ruffling too many feathers. Like I said I get that you guys want something for PVP, I am sure someone will eventually fill that demand but for the safety and longevity of my product, it will not be me. It is nothing that I can be convinced otherwise either, there are more than enough people that prefer PVE rotations and I certainly enjoy focusing my time and effort into that crowds wants, instead of one that would just contribute to more problems in the botting community.

No where did I state that I believe botting is a 'noble cause'. However, PVE botting is a lot less 'unfair' than PVP botting in that you aren't affecting your fellow players experience in a negative way.
With PVP botting, there is no way you can say you are benefiting the community.

Hawker but you can tell when an update will come out ?!

It does not make sense to me, so you say manual CRs in arena with manual cc and interrupts is the easiest to spot? Why am I not banned then?

This sucks but I can deal with it. Im sure an alternative will spawn somewhere that will allow us to play pro CRs in arena.
