HB with problems. So many accounts banned.

Again - do you have proof of this? I've had accounts banned who posted 0 auctions, and the accounts that did all the auctioning are still active (lost only 2 accounts before, thought it was because I mailed all the loot to other accounts, but it doesn't seem to be the case).

yes i have proof the bot was not detected.. im currently botting this very second..if they could detect my bot 12 hours ago and ban me why cant they now? oh we also have a post from the devs telling us there is no ban wave, and if there was there would be an official post..so please, deep breaths, calm down, stop stoking the fire and ofcourse

I have never said that the bot is detected. You keep talking about how it's this and that, but people keep getting banned at the same time at the same day while they have not been doing the same things (using different bots under different circumstances). My concerns regarding (high) "risk" are about other subjects such as merging SoR accounts etc. Blizzard is targeting botters very heavily _right now_, people SHOULD be wary. We don't know how blizzard bans people exactly, but the patterns bots show in game MAY lead Blizzard to hitting the ban hammer (click to move for example). I will keep on botting ofcourse, but I will be caucious when it comes to adding new accounts. It's not like 100% accounts got banned. Just because they didn't, it doesn't mean that is safe, nor does getting banned mean that the bot is detected. It's not as black and white as you make it out to be.

I'm not making a lot per account, and I overfarmed my "main servers", simply because the things I farm don't sell as fast as I need them to and I ran out of locations/items to farm. But yeah, just herb/mining. You can calculate estimate income yourself based on farms/hour and items/sold. I'd say 1-2 accounts per server is optimal if you are going that route. If you want to be super effective account wise, go MoP.

Question.
Do you have more than 10 accounts that you bot with 2 in 5 servers, or do you have 1 or 2 accounts that you cycle your bots? Example, 2 hours on server A, 2 hours on server B, and so on?
I was thinking on expanding to another servers, but I have no idea on what to do.

I bot all at the same time on many servers (my pc can run 50 at a time, 5 different internet connections[actually, 1 connection, but 5 ips, but it's almost the same]). My "main servers" had 4-5 accounts and this was clearly too much (too many items to sell, most kept coming back from AH). You need to cycle all zones per 1-2 accounts per server, then you'll be fine.

hitting botters very heavily? mate there are around 20-30 threads here, if that.. if each thread contains 2 banned acounts thats 60 accounts, if only 1/4 of banned players have made a thread thats 240 accounts.. if that has happened across 5 bots , thats 1200 accounts... HB alone has around 80,000 members if i am not mistaken..

blizzard know how we bot, where we bot, hell it wouldnt surprise me if they know the rotations of our dam classes, they will know everything, they will own copies of this bot, look at the coding of this bot, stop talking about if its fucking safe or not, or if blizz are looking at something in particular..

it is NEVER EVER safe, blizz can look at EVERYTHING.. be it if we click to move, if we always raf, if we level without doing a quest, if we put shit loads on the AH, they can look at whatever they want whenever the fuck they want.. for the last time.. you are as "SAFE" today as you were yesterday, as you were a week ago, as you will be tomorrow, a weeks time, a years time.

Gliders last banwave which i was unfortunately a part of, they could detect the bot for bloody weeks, any account that merely logged in with the bot on their PC got banned on the same day, within the same few minutes weeks after they discovered how to detect the bot, you just NEVER know, it is never safe, it never has been...

todays events are nothing to concern, if you are concerned, you shouldn't be botting..so please stop stoking the fire, stop suggesting things are not safe (because they never are, and its comments like that that are resulting in all these dam banwave posts) and accept the fact you have NEVER, and will NEVER be safe..

If people are not "wary", and do not except these risks, and the forgone conclusion that if you bot for long enough you WILL eventually get banned, then they shouldnt be on these forums in the first place..

I have bots running right now (they dont herb or mine) that are making roughly 400 (base from raw gold/loot) and 200ish from AH stuff per hour, so maybe at most 800/hr if I am selling really well on the AH, but that x 10 is more than enough for me on a weekly basis, but if people can truly make 100k in a day, then hell, bot 1 SoR for 2 days straight and make 100k? seems ridiculously too good to be true... as do many things people say on this forum. I am just wondering whether people get TRULY banned based on time online or not, that, if I could figure it out, would completely change how I work things. But I hear conflicting stories, though I have had my guys online for the last 2 weeks in the upwards of 12 hours, maybe near 18/20 per day, and no bans, and they are doing the exact same thing all day. I'd tell you more in a PM if you want, I just avoid telling my strategies on this forum because before you know it, a thousand people are doing it and we are all banned. Time will tell I guess, and I sure hope it tells good things. I already got 3 accounts banned last week because I was dumb enough to purchase RAF time, I learned that lesson. I posted that a SoR seller had to STOP SALES because all accounts that were merged to bnets got banhammers (US side)? Now this is a reason to be concerned about on EU servers now. Ofcourse botting is NEVER safe, I don't argue that fact, it's logical. And personally I don't care if I lost X accounts, I already calculated that in my estimated profits and it's all fine.

That's all... Be wary when creating new accounts and don't perhaps expect them to last too long. If botting wouldn't be "relatively safe" I wouldn't do it (if the expected value of running a bot was negative).

So the question here would be, if they never look, they will never find. Eliminate player reports, and you can't be investigated via those means, post from a new name everyday, you eliminate player reports via auction house, don't post insane amounts of auctions, and that is eliminated. My real question stands to be, can we really bot 24/7 without getting auto-banned if we never get reported? I venture to guess at this time at least, they have disabled auto-bans on player time online because of MoP meaning so many people are playing for hours and hours and hours.

If you bought RAF for more than 2 months, don't do it.
Buy 1 month at a time, more than 1 month will get suspicious, and an annual pass instant ban guaranteed

Point is, I believe 100% that 1 stolen credit card bought all 3 of those banned accounts codes, and when I used them on those 3 accounts, 1 person investigated, and 1 person banned. I say this because 2 of the 3 were on 1 realm, another on another realm, and had no links at any level to each other aside from the RAF time, and were banned the exact same time.

Anyways, yes, I am trying to make IRL money. If I can keep up 12-18 hours a day unbanned and selling it, I will make somewhere in the 300ish a week range. Right now I only work part time and survive off about $150 a week so this works for me. I don't have many bills. But with those 3 bans, I am leary, though I think I should be good because I truly believe it was the RAF time, nothing else justifies it. That being said I'd go 18-24 hours a day right now, but I don't know if auto-bans are in order.

You are botting GB 18 hours a day per account and posting it ALL on the AH? without more than a few bans? I am on the most populated PVE ally server there is, so I am good, but I don't do herbs/mining, and at the looks of it, its hella risky atm. Plus no way I am putting $40 into an account that can get banned tomorrow. At least at this point since I am new and have spent lots of money and made none.
