HB ARCHIVES: TheBrodieman's Profile Compendium--DO NOT DELETE

Unable to run [Brodies Plugin] update process
Unable to run [Brodies QB Updater] update process
Unable to run [Brodies Profile Updater] update process

and yes i renamed a folder with path:
C:\Users\Desktop\Test Bot\Plugins\BrodiesPlugin

But you forgot to send the log file ;)

updated file :D

Your log shows:
1) v743 in use. Newest version is 744, I don't fully support older versions (in case of new functionality added).
2) multiple errors in your QB folder from Cava's QBs. May need to reinstall.
3) unable to connect to my update server (google). Common issue with P R O X Y users. I don't support p r o x y usage, so correcting the issue will be up to you. Sorry.

ah ok, i think the main problem is the ***** server... but on german version you can't use the quest mode... :(

I understand. Unfortunately I cannot provide support for those circumventing the court ordered revocation of questing and other bots in the German version. My apologies I can not help more.

Does singular affect the farming bot? It doesn't want to press vehicle buttons. I think its trying to cast spells when you try to uproot a plant.

hey brodie, i havent picked up or dropped the quest a flash of bronze which takes you to chromie before proceeding to the timeless isle, but the profile keeps running to chromie saying quest pick up and just sits there but theres no quest. Is there a work around for this? I've tried logging out and back in but cant seem to get the quest a flash of bronze.

Try clearing your cache. There are instructions listed on page 1. That "should" fix that.

should reiterate it isnt a problem with the bot or the profile i dont think. I just cant find the quest in game im in shrine logged in and out but the quest has never showed up. Is there a way to get the profile to work without hte quest?>or am i screwed til teh quest shows up.

I'll look into checking the xyz on that profile, but since it's meant to fly inland on pandaria and you're ending up in the ocean, I would check to make sure you're on pandaria when it starts, and if so, what xyz is it landing at?

The other issue I've already mentioned what you should do, but to double check your QBs aren't missing, please make this a profile and run it:

PHP:
<HBProfile>
<QuestOrder>
<CustomBehavior File="SpecificQuests\30264-VOEB-EnemyattheGates" />
</QuestOrder>
</HBProfile>

It won't do anything as you need to be on the quest, but if there is an error in your copy of the QB it will reflect it in the log. Please send the log after you have run this.

I can tell you right now, that no file with that name exists in my QB/SpecificQuests folder. This is the most recent package (zip) downloaded of HonorBuddy. I also just did a quick check through the QB/SpecificQuests folder of all previous versions of HB (.742, to current), and not one has a .cs file for that name in that location. Is there somewhere else this is located ? Most certainly, if QB's do not exist, then this would likely be the root cause of the issue (good troubleshooting) ... the question remains .. where can the files be obtained if they are not in the HB distro, and are not being downloaded.

Thanks.

** Update *** -- I edited the Brodie_QB_Updater.ver and changed it to

Code:
$Revision: 0 $

.. this *trick* was successful in forcing the plugin to re-download the QB's. It seemed that it must have failed the last few builds, however this time it did grab them correctly. If I may suggest... add a 'ForceBehaviourDownload' button to the plugin dialog. I will let you know the specific coords it ends up at where it's stuck in the water.

Please send a log file of the occurring issue.

If you have already done one of the quests on the isle, then it most likely never show up. It should be marked as complete through WoW. If not, please follow the cache corruption instructions on page 1.

There will come a time when that type of behavior isn't necessary, but until then, I do NOT recommend copying old installs of my plugin into new installs of HB. Recommend you reinstall the plugin fresh with each fresh install of HB.

I, unfortunately, can't tell what it is trying to attack. Singular seems to be doing this on its own. Are you, by chance on any kind of mount? Did it successfully "mount" one of the encroaching weeds? It does show trying to click the popup button that should appear, but I can't tell from the log if it's successful (assuming no due to the length of time it takes to complete that stage of the profile).

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Keep on getting this error all the time when I'm starting the Fire Festival - i'm just pressing Kalimdor.

The profiles are not available yet because I haven't released them, until Fire Festival goes live in my time zone and can test them.
I will be releasing an e-mail notification when they are live. Should be around 1430 EST. Primary release will be EK/Kalim and Outlands, Northrend and Pandaria will come later tonight.

Is there a way to configure "Level My Character" so that it sells whites not on the protected list?

You are missing what I am saying. I install EVERYTHING fresh when HB has a new version. Plugins, etc. For profiles, I simply update via SVN / check for new versions. What happened, (and shows in all last 3 versions of HB), is that when the plugin did it's update for QB, it modified the .ver file, but did not actually download the QB files. Probably an intermittent issue with the SVN -- i dunno. When resetting the .ver file to 0, this forced the plugin to re-attempt the download (otherwise, it will not re-attempt to download unless the revision changed). There is no condition if the downloads fail. I feel the simplest solution to workaround this, would be to add a button inside your UI so that the user may force a re-download of the files, and if they exist already, it would overwrite, otherwise, it would download anything missing. Modifying the .ver file is more of a workaround to this issue. Your code in that segment looks fine, so I do not feel that is the issue, so it must have been a connectivity issue with the SVN, What is particularly odd, is that the other two SVN downloaders (exactly same code, and server, different names), seem to have downloaded their updates correctly on fresh install.
