Panda starter profile is done. Behaviors have to be done for some of the quests - but then it should be OK

atm I have the horde set of quests completed, i'll get the ally set after questing works

the faction specific 'set' is like 4 quests, nothing major

Hi Kick,

Great job getting the Monk profile out before Mists. I have one question for you. The profile is currently named "[N - Quest] 1-12 Monk [Kick]" while your other profiles are all named by race, such as "[A - Quest] Draenei 1-5 [Kick].

My question is, shouldn't your new profile be named by the race, and not the class, i.e. "[A - Quest] Pandaren 1-12 [Kick]" because other classes can use this profile?

I think it might cause some user confusion if they roll a Dranei Monk and can't figure out which profile to use, resulting in lots of threads for you, Tony, etc. to waste time replying to.

I've started work on Horde panda 85-86 The Jade Forest

It will be a long and daunting task, but i'll keep at it as long as the ptr build # doesn't change

Apoc and Nesox are still working on questing stuffs.
 
I suggest you learn to make quest behaviors or you'll get stuck having to take out whole quest chains or even 1/2 of a zone bc of 1 quest. Developing questing is no easy task. It may only take me a day or 2 per (big expansion) zone to develop quests... but, the main issue is that quest behaviors for specific quests (vehicles and such) take a while on their own to develop and test.

Damn, Kickazz makes it seem so easy...

How is your quest updates going Kickazz, some of them are glitching out and I have no idea how to personally fix them...
 
Kickazz, get on my level, made a level 1-6 human alliance quest in 10 hours!! ooooh!! soo pro *major sarcasm disabled* just kidding man you rock kick :)
 
did a few quests in outlands in hellfire then it just stops bot, idk if questing bot is still down or not if it is im sorry for posting =/

Hey tried questing on druid it did a few quests then came up with this error it would appear to be a profile error rather than a bot error but i have no idea :D

You comment is very much useless.
At the *very* least you could have listed which ones. Better yet, attach a log file.


Using the fresh copy from SVN (updated yesterday 11:55).

There is a bug with "Lieutenant Horatio Laine" not being in game, I wasn't able to accept his quests, I had to delete them.

So far, these give me the message Could not generate any hotspots for quest <quest>. Please place a quest override for this quest.:

I am very well aware of all the limitations of the lastest releases of HB. Maybe the hotspot generation issues will be fixed by an upcoming HB update, rendering this post useless (let's hope so)?

Hopefully you can help me out.. I'm getting errors over and over again while using your 1-5 night elf profile. It says: [18:30:14.335 N] Could not generate any hotspots for quest Iverron's Antidote. Please place a quest override for this quest.

Getting this with every quest. Ofcourse I added my log.
