HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

Its been grinding since level 48, and im now 51, tries to pick up the quest in felwood to go to winterspring, kept talking to an npc who didn't have that specific quest, restarted bot, now it just keeps saying "grinding"
 
kick how can i fix my problem i dont know why he get the same Bug als on my other (char/acc)

can you help me
 
Actually i re svned the profiles yesterday right before i started the lvl 1 paladin and discovered the bugs.
 
After letting all the guys out on 'How to Serve Goblins" i get this error

Could not create current in quest bot; exception was thrown

I tried to search it and landed on several topics with 50-1200 pages lol

What is cauasing that and how do I fix this.

Other than that, besides getting stuck in spinebreaker post on a tent everytime i went there, this has been fine ;)

it's a bot issue, go back and manually pick up 'his heart must be in it' from one of the guys in town. i used a 'complete log quest' and you must be one of the many people that have issues w/ that function (i've seen it a lot since 4.3)

well the thing is that everything you reported i had already fixed; i have a force sell right before training and the other stuff i had fixed

re-svn again and let me know if anything else goes wrong

give me the log; i'm sure it's the bot bugging out and 'stuck maneuvering' off of the platform
 
I'm not sure if I just did something wrong or what, but for some reason when I changed to this particular profile after changing the checkpoint value to false since I'm lvl 73, it flew to the ally camp where it proceeded to get butt raped over and over. I saw this so I stopped it and here is the log. Thank you for everything you do Kick!

if you're going to false checkpoints ... you need to not be near an ally camp; and i don't support chain dying / running through camps if you false checkpoints

fly to another camp and press start
 
Kick, the more i progress with the profile the longer it takes to start up as it compiles all the quests. Is there a way to eliminate compiling so much?
Maybe by modding the code so it starts further on?. But if I did that, is it as simple as just taking out a chunk of text?.

once i finish adding quests i'll do some tweaking... but that's why i put that message there

so that users will know it takes a while

i already sped up classic and BC, but I am waiting for final tweaks on LK before i speed it up
 
the elevator in warsong hold (borean) has issues at the bottom... it spins in circles and doesn't want to go up; sometimes it works, but sometimes it doesn't... i think it's a tad bit too close imo

Hello!
I just have some problems at Hellfire.
When its about to sell and mail items at different locations at hellfire, it always just runs from mail to innkeeper and back.
For endless times :D

it's a bot issue, nesox knows about it; just if you see it stuck - manually move it to the repair vendor and open the window

The quest that caused the problem in this log is "Out of the Ziggurat"
