Hey having trouble with the Golden Lotus quests. It picks them up okay and then flys to the daily area, But then bugs out saying cant generate path.

It sounds like you are running some very old copies of Kick's profiles. Please update to the latest (v2024 as of this writing.)

If you are not off-and-away after updating the profiles, please attach your full log.

Not sure if this is a mesh issue or a profile issue, but when traveling from A to B during Shado-Pan "The Bigger They Come...", the bot is traveling by flying mount but its traveling on the ground, pulling tons of mobs on the way to its destination. This almost always guarantees death once it dismounts.

Did the bot land?
I'm seeing an issue with landing midway thru a command. Because of proximity to the next hotspot, the bot refuses to remount. I have commands in to remount, but if it has yet to detect that it made it to the previous hotspot, then it gets stuck trying to walk into the air.

Also I'm seeing an issue where it flys to a waypoint, then says "I FOUND LAO!" and flys head first into the ground trying to interact with him....somewhere underground...I've been working on it...
 
Any idea why when I start the [N - Quest] 89-90 Townlong Steppes [Kick] profile on my lvl 88 Rogue it just takes me to Kun-lai and starts grinding mobs on Kota Peak... Using the Questing bot. I've already hand done the first 20 or so quests in the zone, is this why it's misbehaving?
 
Hey brodie, great profiles, nice work man. My toon refuses to pull up the fish when it has one on the hook, for quest Snack Time and for the Anglers fishing quest. Am I missing something?

After I read thru your log, I see a lot of inconsistencies with my code. Are you running the most recent version? There's a lot in your file that does not match up with mine (calls to quest checks missing particular quests, on lines in the 700s when my profile barely passes 700 itself).

Did the bot pick up a phase 2 quest?
Was Golden Pagoda also the Phase 2?
 
it didnt appear to land. went close to ground but didnt land. also. i tried restarting when it was on the ground but took off and did the same thing. anything i should try?

Yes. Your Quest Behavior MrFishIt is not up to date. You have to copy the one in my SVN to your Quest Behaviors folder, as the one that comes with v525 of HB is out of date.

...Doing what?
My profile commands the bot to take off and land hundreds of times, and I'm not sure where you are, what you were trying to do, what the bot was supposed to do, or what you should do, if anything.

I don't think either. The bot auto mounts to any mount when using ground mounts. Flying or ground, it doesn't care. The bot does not fly between hotspots, only between quests when told to do so. If your bot is not stopping to fight that which is attacking it, check these things:

Are you being hit by attacks before you dismount? (Some CCs sometimes don't register combat until hit, especially during move commands, but not always, and Objective hotspots are not considered move commands)
Is "Kill between Hotspots" active? If not, it might ignore all the aggro until it reaches the next hotspot.
Is it targetting another mob far away, and it is heading to attack this one, thinking that's who's attacking it?
Is your pull distance a good number? (The profile auto-sets this quest for 30 yards, is this true for yours?)

Yes. If your bot is taking off and landing...or what not. I need to know alot more:

What profile are you running? (Daily Grind is not an acceptable answer, as this only auto-starts Tillers, and continues from there)
What quest is it attempting?
Where are you when it happens?
Do you have a log file? (Located in HB\Logs)

Without more information, I can not help you.
 
okay i had only loaded the Golden Lotus profile (not the pre req) and it had picked up all the quests and flown to the are with the Lao Softfoot and the Mogu. I will run it again clean from the start and grab a proper log.

Hi, Fierceangel,

Doing quests by hand should never be a problem. Quest profiles are written to be stop-start friendly.

But you'll need to attach a full log so we can see what's going wrong for you.

I've looked over the threads and I can't find the answer I'm looking for, so I hope it's ok to post here. Is there something I can change in the profile so HB does not "skip" over lower level quests? I want my toon to complete as many quests as possible, even if they give no XP. Any help would be appreciated.
