HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

going to sound like a noob question. I'm going back to complete quest in MOP areas and it seems to still want to use ground mount even though i'm 90. How can I change the profile to use a flying mount???

Hi, Mattyice,

We haven't adjusted the profiles for that, yet. For now, they are ground-mount.

cheers,
chinajade

Problems with a level 22 Worgen Hunter in Duskwood.

Whenever I start the [A - Quest] EK 12-58 [Kick].xml, it want's to use the Hearthstone and go "Compiling Alliance Mount"

So it head to Trade District, goes to flight point, heads back to Duskwood and repeats.

Profile: [H - Quest] 85-86 The Jade Forest [Kick] + [A - Quest] 85-86 The Jade Forest [Kick]
Quest: Pages of History - Quest - World of Warcraft
Description: Improvements ;-) With HuntingGrounds we have a better navigation in the room. And added more Blackspots to Blacklist all the Books on the 2nd Floor, to avoid stucks.
Quest works now a little bit better, but not perfect...the room is horrible...

Thanks once again, MaxMuster.

Since InteractWith is a QBcore-based behavior, we were able to fold the blackspots into the behavior invocation itself. The code looks like:
Code:
        <While Condition="HasQuest(30002) && !IsQuestCompleted(30002)">
            <CustomBehavior File="InteractWith" QuestId="30002" MobId="209594" WaitTime="2000"

Your recommendations have been folded into v3076?both the Alliance and Horde profiles were updated accordingly. And indeedy, the navigation in that area is a mess.

These profiles are terrific. Lately I've been running the Tol Barad peninsula & Baradin Hold dailies. I'd like to add some code that will have HB first check to see if Tol Barad is controlled by my faction before deciding to run the Baradin Hold dailies. Does anybody know how to add that sort of logic to the beginning of the BH profile?

Ideally, I'd like HB to also check how much time remains before the next TB battle so it can figure out whether there's time to complete the dailies, but that may be asking a lot.

Hi, Ragoza,

This is a question for the Community Developer forum.

Max-

It's cool you are providing fixes for all of these, but are these being pushed via SVN by someone?

Hi, Ambrose,

We never look a gift-horse in the mouth. All of MaxMuster's recommendations are folded into this profile's subversion repository. We've been doing this for quite a while if you will care to look at the changelog (https://code.google.com/p/kicks-scripts/source/list).

Just dinged level 58 on my tauren shaman and selected the next profile (58-70) . All the bot does is fly to shattrath city and stands next to some boxes. I have stopped and started the bot but no luck he just keeps going there. It says 'QuestPickUp' but there is no quest near that location where he stands. Ty for any help :)

Hi, Morrman, and welcome aboard.

There is absolutely no chance of helping you with problems like this, if you don't attach the full log that captures the issue. Please see the guide for [post=1259963]Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance[/post].

Hia, first off love your profiles been working more or less perfect for my first 9 lvl 90s.

But now I have encounterd a problem at lvl 60 Alliance in Hellfire Penninsula with the quest: [Disrupt Their Reinforcements] They have changed the req to do it, but the profile does not know this.
The profile wants to get an item to kill the portals, but you get the item from quest giver.

Otherwize works great.

Hi, Zheromer,

We believe you misunderstand how the Disrupt Their Reinforcements - Quest - World of Warcraft quest works. Indeed, you are provided with an item, but you have to acquire four Demonic Rune Stone - Item - World of Warcraft (for each portal) by killing mobs to enable the item's use. Here is the relevant part of what the quest says:

"Defeat Legion forces around Portals Grimh and Kaalez to gather demonic rune stones, use the primer to detonate the stones inside the portals... then watch the fireworks!!"

Without a log to prove otherwise, we must assume the profile is operating correctly.

Profile: [N - Quest] 88-89 Kun-Lai Summit [Kick]
Quest: The Scent of Life - Quest - World of Warcraft
Description: Reactive the CollectItem Objective (instead of usting InteractWith), because the Interact Range is 5 what looks Bot like for Casters.

Thanks, MaxMuster!

We've incorporated the refinement into v3078. The original quest override remains unchanged.

chinajade

Hi there. Just a note, on the Horde profile at around level 7 in Durotar, the profile picks up two quests, "Shipwreck Searching" from Gail Nozzywig and "Storming the Beach" from Gar'Thok. The profile then runs you to the beach where the quests take place and then stops you at a single point where you stand, amidst all the other bots running the profile who also never move. I have been doing these quests by hand for the past few days but thought I would mention they are not running smoothly. Everything else going good though. :)

Hi, Malice211,

This has already been repaired. Details in [post=1378052]this post[/post].

Just for the future...
If you need to report a problem, we simply need the full log attached that captures the issue. The only way we can chase problems is when we can 'see' them (via log). Since the issue was already repaired this time, you got lucky. :D

Thanks again, MaxMuster!

The refinements to "A Disarming Distraction" have been folded into v3079.

First of all thank you for your wonderful profiles. They have helped the community immensely.

I am trying to get some gold by running lower level 85-87 quests that I didn't complete before since I switched zones. Now that I am level 90 is there a way for it to force flying instead of running everywhere? Thank you for your help :)

Hi, WrathofGod,

Sadly, no. The profiles are not currently written with that in mind. This is on our list of things to do as we are (constantly) reworking the profiles. Alas, bug fixes and other issues come before new feature requests like this. So, no ETA.

cheers,
chinajade

The bot says : Goal: Picking Up Quest - Rather Be Fishin' : QuestID - 10037 : To - Seth : ID - 18653 : But the quest isnt there, any help would be very nice :)

Hi, Jade forest 85-86 (i'm horde), quest: Scouting Report: Hostile Natives ... the bot does not stop to "examine the warning sign" before moving to the widows house, so he just stops there :) Thanks!

started testing today and is going great so far ... The only problem that i have is the fps drops a lot sometimes(only with the bot) without any reason( i have play on max 120fps without problems), you guys have any idea?

Hi, Rednil, and welcome aboard.

This is not a problem with the profile.

Honorbuddy has been having some FPS-drop problems of late. The development staff knows about some of them, and are looking into it.

If the problem gets serious, you need to make a new thread in the Support forum, and attach your full log that captures the issue.

Hi, Fragboy, and thanks for the log.

You have two problems:

[10:58:23.118 D] System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Exception: Somente uma parte de um pedido ReadProcessMemory ou WriteProcessMemory foi conclu?da, at addr: 41262FDE, Size: 4
at GreyMagic.ExternalProcessMemory.ReadByteBuffer(IntPtr addr, Void* buffer, Int32 count)

The only way we know to clear up GreyMagic issues is to reboot the computer.

The second problem, we'll have to go on from your description since your log doesn't demonstrate the problem.
[ProfileCompatibilityInfo-v1201(warning)] PROFILE COMPATIBILITY WARNINGS:
* Ground mount (75973) is a flying mount. Please configure a ground-only mount.

As the message says, you should configure a non-flying mount in:
Honorbuddy
→ Settings & Tools
→ Mount text box

This is most likely the cause of the incessant running around you describe. For more information, please see "Can I use a Flying Mount as a Ground Mount?" in this article:

"The Easter Pylon" Quest in Un'Goro is bugged right now, on Arthas at least, and is unable to be turned in. Blizzard support says it will be patched in next update. Just FYI
