HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

Im seeing some problems with the movement ahead of the quest Round 1, Fight! - Quest - World of Warcraft in Ashuna. Same exact problem where it just stands there instead of going and deliver the quest and taking it, with 2 characters.

Otherwise, very happy with the development of the qp last few days, thank you!

I think I may have fixed the Stormheim issue that caused this error:

Cannot load profile!
'NonCompeteDistance' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1376, position 75.

All I did was go through the Stormheim profile and there are two lines: 1376 and 1495 that repeat "NonCompeteDistance=0". All I did was erase the second one on each of those lines and everything started working perfectly again.

Thats what did it for me. It's actually 1494 not 1495 that its twice. So to recap

1376 and line 1494 delete the second "NonCompeteDistance=0". My profile has NOW continued. Thanks for finding this usairways08!!

By the way you will need a editor program to see line numbers. I like atom but there is tons of free editors

in aszuna, i've noticed it keeps going to one of the flight masters, flies then blacklists Gentle rosh.. back and fourth.

Cant find those in my profike, my profile only has 1474 lines. And line 1376 says nothing about "noncompetedistance"

Re-read what I wrote again. Last line specifically. Cant use notepad or notepad ++

Had the same issue. Ended up completing Stormheim myself. Unfortunetly the bot never did any mission so now I am 108 and run out of quests to do. Gues it's time to use Grindbot for the last 2 levels.

Yep it is. It feels like with Legendary Buddy the focus is more on getting people to buy it to get more support/ profiles. I remember when WoD release there was a working 90-100 profile right at the launch.
 
What version of the profile are you actually making the fix to? 5292 or 5297? I am using atom with 5297 and only have 1474 lines.
 
Profiles work amazing non-afk. If you've done quests by hand then you need to use note pad or such to edit the zone profile and remove certain quests.
 
Guys I dont know why this is so hard to edit the files.

First, you NEED the SVN files and make sure they are updated. NOT the buddy store ones. You need this until Echo can fix the main BS files or SVN files.

Then you need a text/xml editor. I like Atom, but there is MANY others for free.

Open the file and edit the lines 1376 and 1494

Take out the second "NonCompeteDistance=0" in each line.


Pictures below and lines are JUST showing I have more lines then you. Its not the specific lines!

Clearly you can see I have more lines so apparently you folks are missing steps. This is just a bandage to the issue until Echo can fix the profile. He is very busy with his constant updates.

Thank you, all you had to say though was to use the svn version. Which by the way only contains the duplicate in line 1494.
 
D:\Honorbuddy\Default Profiles\Questing Profile Pack\Legion... thats the file that I was editing. Its the one that comes bundled with HB after a fresh install, so the assumption was that it was up to date. That file can be edited.
