HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

Is it still possible to use this profile as a grinding profile from 1-85 as advertised until the quest bot is fixed.
 
Kick's questing is driving me COMPLETELY nuts in Hellfire Peninsula. It keeps forcing groundmount on long distances between questgivers (and when turning off groundmount in the bot then the profile make sure to walk instead of flying where it would normally use groundmount (Where is the LOGIC here?). I have wondered for years now. Why one earth is it so impossible to ALWAYS force flying mount in questprofile, and let the bot force dismount if aggro or right before attacking. Simple code for a dev I assume. Still this ain't working as it should. :( I keep getting stuck here and there as well (never happened before in these places, see log). And when the bot gonna pickup ore (it will sometimes ignore attacking and die). I can not use this at all in Hellfire, to risky to get banned with this "corny" none seamless behaviour. Some of this is profile related some is not. I do not have time to post another post about it, soo drop all here. Please inform bot devs and pass them logs to look at the issues related to the bot. Some of it is profile related, so I post it here. Hoping for improvements. Forgive my frustration, but my nerves can't take this. I am nanying my bot all the time and sit at computer when it afkbot also. Because I am scared the bot will fuck up. Please make it work as it should, dear devs.

With TLS i found the bot to stand in between 6 of those creatures with 6 questitems required and 3 Craftsman saved and 1 Shammy. But it stood there doing nothing... I watched it for a few seconds as i was checking inventory to see if i had the questitems and i checked the quests. So i don't know if there is a CD issue on when he will use an item or if the bot is confused or if it is due to the bug on Blizzard's end.

With that quest there is not running around aimlessly but I almost any class i play is running directly to the pups, gets attacked and then uses an AoE spell because it will see the neutral ones as enemies or something. I don't know if it is possible to pull from a 30 yard range or make the target on the enemy mobs first. It looks a bit odd if you need to clear 4 camps but you kill everything every other camp. Since it is a daily it might be easy to check that one.

I think this quest is working but it takes forever to get it done i think. Seems to only target flying eagles for some reason ((EDIT: My character just did this quest and it went fine.earlier it was dodgy though so am not removing the line))

With this quest it is attacking the Huscarls and not the casters that drop the actual item. This results in a lot of running around and getting the questitems on accidental aggro pulls. Due to the bug on Blizzard end maybe it is possible to do something with the hotspots. Normally the casters are around the big cauldron in the center. Then again.. if 10-20 bots lining up at the same spot for quest mobs... easy pickings for bans.

Bot will continue to the dwarves to attack them instead of collecting boulders and throw from above.


I hope this is helpful. I added the links because...I don't know. Maybe gives you more insight and might save you some time. I tend to be around the pc when i am botting and am not 100% AFK. but at times it might take me a while to catch the bot doing something strange. At times i am watching a movie and got the game sound low. Checking every 15-30 mins. So there might be some quests that I am missing. IF i spot more quests I will just come back.

All these quests should be fixed in (r. 4992)

The links definitely helped, I'd just tab them open and use WoWhead to do them one-by-one.

For the quest "Planning for the Future" - this issue is a bit technical.
The only thing I could think of to fix it (immediately) was to blacklist the pups from the combat logic.
Hopefully this will prevent the bot from using AoE.

For the quest "Flamebinder's Secrets" - I've added a large array of hotspots that should keep the bots from stacking up on one spot.
The areas around the fires + areas around the buildings / etc.

Alliance - (no WoD quests) done as level 100 druid using Singular.

Northern Stranglethorn - Quest = Tiger Hunting - doenst target or kill the tigers

Borean Tundra - Quest = Fruits of our Labor - spam cart without getting Captain Jacobs Key

Borean Tundra - Quest = Prison Break - just flies around not getting key or rescuing.

Howling Fjord - Quest = Prisoners of Wyrmskull - doesnt release prisoners

Hellfire Peninsula - Quest = Disrupt Their Reinforcements - doesnt kill the demons to get the 4 stones required and just spam clicks portal

Terrokar Forest - Quest = Timber Worg Tails + Unruly Neighbors - saw the bot running past large groups of the warped peons and timber worgs not killing for a while.

Nagrand - Quest = Eating Damnation - doesnt target and kill the enraged crushers

Netherstorm - Quest = Securing the Shaleskin Shale - wont kill the flayers for the item

Netherstorm - Quest = Invaluable Asset Zapping - spam clicks the big wagon full of explosives too far away.

Netherstorm - Quest = That Little Extra Kick - doesnt target or kill Nether Rays.

Netherstorm - Quest = Rebuilding the Staff - not target or kill.

Netherstorm - Quest = A Heap of Ethereals - restarted HB thought it was glitching (3 bugged quests in a row) but wouldnt kill the ethereals just running around.

Netherstorm - Quest = Keeping up Appearances - got 3/10 and then was just running around not killing the mobs.

Netherstorm - Quest = Fel Reavers, No Thanks! - doesnt collect the items from the mobs required to do quest just runs around

Netherstorm - Quest = Captain Tyralius? -it was just standing, no idea what quest or what but it was just west of Manaforge Ultris.

Hyjal - Quest = Crushing the Cores + Rage of the Wolf Ancient - found it afk next to portal inside the cave "waiting on hotspot" restarted and does a poor job targetting and killing both the mobs for cores and iron laborers.
+ after it was done with the quests in there It was afk next to portal trying to leave

Hyjal - Quest = Walking the Dog - doesnt kill basilisks for the meat to feed the doge

All these quests have been fixed in (r. 5006), thanks for the report!

They are, but only twice a day at 11AM and 11PM PDT time so it is possible to be running an outdated profile through the store.
Also, if you run the profiles all day - they won't update until you stop+start the bot.

When I make a fix, I'll post "Fixed in (r. ####)"

If you look at the download buttons on the front of the thread, it will tell you which revision number the download options are currently on.
If the download number is under the number I post, then the quest isn't fixed in that download option yet.

The SVN is always 100% as that's the raw source where I commit all my fixes.

These fixes I'm applying aren't "band-aids."
In fact, the fixes I'm making are the next generation code that will prevent the exact issue you're reporting.


Your log shows:

System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'F:\System Volume Information' is denied.
So it seems like it's something on your machine that's causing these issues in the bot. It's not a profile issue.

Try putting it in another drive aside from F:\ - maybe your Desktop.

This is not a profile issue, so I'll need a log to see why this message is showing.
It could be due to a bad installation.

I've never tested or used the grinding profiles on this pack, so I'm not sure how well they operate.
Assuming they still work well - it could be an option, but grind leveling is extremely slow.
 
Hi Echo,

It was my understanding that if you ran a profile with the options set to "Ignore Checkpoints" that it would do all the quests available in the profile... however on the profile for "Valley of the Four Winds" it keep switching to WoD even though it's maybe only done like 5 quests.

I'll try to provide a log later.
