HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

Hello,

I'm leveling with heirlooms and when using your profile it keeps doing green quests, if I set <QuestOrder IgnoreCheckpoints="false" /> to True instead of False will it skip those quests and move to a new zone faster? I'm level 28 and I'm still questing in Ashenvale.

I really know nothing about profiles or coding, but I'm wondering if its possible to have some sort of fail-safe where my toon, upon failing to turn in a quest 5 times in a row will go and attempt to do the quest again. Or maybe drop the quest and pick it up again. Something along those lines.

The "Buddy Store vs SVN" is not related to your problem in any fashion. The Buddy Store offers many benefits, and we will not be going back to SVN. But, this is not a discussion for this thread.

If you are having problems, we just need to sort them when they are encountered. From this log, the problem is a navigational issue, and not related to the profile.

This sounds like a problem with either cache corruption, or your Honorbuddy installation. Please give these a try (in this order):

This is not a problem with the profile pack. You will want to report things like this to the [post=350949]Navigation thread[/post]. The screenshot is great, but the first post over there will outline the other information needed to correct the problem.

To be honest, this sounds *exactly* like a corrupted cache. The log does not confirm it, because the bot was stopped before that information was captured. Next time, please allow the bot to run 60-90 seconds after the problem first manifests.

Please try one more time to clear the caches as outlined here:

To take corrective actions, we need to see the full log that captures the event—log snippets will not do. But, thanks for trying. Toss us the full log the next time you encounter this issue.

You are not experiencing a problem with the profile pack, but the Buddy Store streaming. Please make a post to the Support forum regarding this issue. Also, be certain to attach your full log that captures the event.

You must be a Druid that is the first toon on a new account.

Please read [post=1260136]Known Bugs List: Miscellaneous (Rep, Seasonal, etc)[/post] (skate down to the "MountHook" bullet) for your remedies.

the deathknight start stone is a nightmare for months (years?) now. there are tons of dismount issues when the toon has to use an item. basically you can't use this profile for months now without interacting every minute. is this ever gonna be fixed?

(the dismount issues are not DK zone related, they happen with every char across all zones. same for the interacting every minute = this applies to every char, across all races and classes. the profile is completely useless and horrible for a few months now. would just be nice to tell the community if this is neglected and they have to look for other profiles so they won't waste time on this one.)

edit 2: this profile is CONSTANTLY running into 46783 mobs and (of course) dying. then, standing or flying next to a mob getting spammed by "you are mounted" i mean... how the hell is this supposed to work? by the way, the dismount issue applies through ALL profiles lately, this seems to be a major bug for weeks now. anyone ever bother to look at this?

you certainly used this profile a while ago when it was working fine ;) it's been a nightmare lately, no matter what. i agree it worked great some while ago, but this is been a LONG while by now.

And by the way, we pay for ALL of this here. Or were you ever be able to use HB for free?

basically my toons are dead trying to get to their corpse like 99% of the time. no, thats no ok ;)

my level 5 gnome is trying to kill spider in SEARING GORGE (!) now for 3 hours and constantly dying LOL ( of course).... not going to talk about my DK running against a wall trying to kill an elite for 1 hour now (and running into 100 mobs and dying, if everything works "better" lol... ) seriously, what is going on here? anyone knows a useful questing profile? I'd be very thankful.

Hi, Shelaine,

There are actually very few problems with the profile pack. 99.5% of the time, the problem is either navigational or on the user's end (a corrupted Honorbuddy, cache, bad network connection, etc).

To be honest, from the problems you describe, it sounds like your installation is seriously borked. You might want to try a "clean install":

BubbaDad is spot on regarding "the bot runs/flies/swims to exhaustion and death", it sounds like you are starting a profile on the wrong continent. We can't speak to the BG problems, that problem should be reported to the Support forum.

Horde, LK - Borean Thundra - I had to help the bot on quest *Bury those cockroaches!*
After completing half of the quest, it came back at base of Warsong Hold and went AFK in the middle of the elevator. I manualy completed the steps 3 and 4 (West and North Nerub'ar sinkhole Destroyed).

The log says that the toon doesnt have flying capability in this area. (I do have all the trainings needed to fly.) Toon is a level 70 Priest.

Hope this post has everything you need to fix it :D

Ps;I saw alot of people using this profile afk at the same spot.

This is a bug in the FlyTo quest behavior that has yet to be repaired. In v3477, we've attempted to work around the problem by switching to another transport directive.

Hi, Presb,

Due to a missing feature in Honorbuddy at the moment, it is difficult to do quests in this fashion. This is HB-1075 ("Inability to tune profile's mail/sell settings & IgnoreCheckpoints when streamed from BuddyStore"), and is not yet resolved.

Kmica's suggestion might help you, but we're afraid you'll bump into issue with 'checkpoints' that will prevent you from achieving the necessary 'phasing' for the next set of quests. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try his suggestion. But right now, things will only go smooth if you are 'level appropriate'.
