HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

Brewfest for Alliance & Horde 2014

Okay, we know its late, and for that we apologize...

  1. The Alliance profile had not been updated for three years, and had to be completely rewritten from scratch:

  2. This year, we added the Horde profile that mirrors the Alliance one:

  3. To get these profiles to work, you must copy this quest behavior into .../Honorbuddy/Quest Behaviors/SpecificQuests/Holiday/Brewfest-RamRidingQuests.cs
The profiles will probably not be available from the Buddy Store pack for a few days. The quest behavior will ship with the next (post-.748) version of Honorbuddy. But, neither will probably happen before the event ends this year. This is why we're making them available to you in this fashion, now.

is there anyway to make the bot go to the skinning trainer when it reaches the max lvl while questing? i have no trouble skinng and quest at the same time, i just wish i could 100% afk it over night, when it maxes out skinning 125/125, it would visit trainer to upgrade it. Any plugin or something? great profiles whatsoever!!

Hyal Firelands dailies - Those Bears Up There

First of all i have to appologise for the assumption the daily quest is exactly the same as the normal quest The Bears Up There

After my reporting 1-2 weeks ago i noticed it isnt working as it should, so i did some more checking.

I copyed "BearsUpThere.cs" to "ThoseBearsUpThere.cs" and made necessary adjustments with the ID's.

But it still wont complete on its own.
It enters the tree, grabs the bear cub, climbs all the way to the top, and then just stands there.
I found out that when on top, climbing down 1 level (Logmark 1) and then back up to the top (Logmark 2) manually, the bot will normally finish the quest as intended, climb down and accept the followup quest.

The lines 299-303 in the file "[Fly][N - Rep Quest] Hyjal Firelands Dailies [Kick].xml" need to be changed as follows:

the bot is almost getting stuck every 3-4 lvls on a quest where it only moves front and back looking for hotspot not attacking anything , it did it on ungoro carter , and in all tbc zones using dungeonbuddy to skip those lvls and keep going

true that. i'm asking myself for over a year now why they don't revise the horde profile. level 40-50 (feralas/thousand needles/tanaris/ungoro) is a plain nightmare and takes almost as long as the other 80 levels alltogether. most of the time the toons are dead, running through 500 mobs pulling everything, or simply running around spamming "moving to hotspot"... plus, thousand needles has some quests the bot can not do, you have to do them on your own due to under water. i will never understand why they don't just make the bot to level from 40-50 in eastern kingdoms, as the alliance profile works like a charm on those levels. it's a joke really, and a profile that screams "BAN ME" like hardly any other, apart from gb2.

i'm pretty sure kick's hasn't been reworked in YEARS (apart from some little bug fixes maybe), thus the shitty performance. it's about high time that anyone makes an up-to-date, GOOD and actually WORKING level profile that doesn't run into bugs and bottish behavior every 5 minutes.

fun fact: i started an alliance and a horde toon the same day, bottet the exactly same hours. alliance toon is 80, without any mayor problems during leveling, horde toon is 67, with me having to do bullshit by hand literally every few minutes. i think this doesn't need any further comment. i just can't understand why they don't work on this crap, especially as 85% of people are leveling horde these days.

During the Learn and Grow III: Tending Crops quest (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=30255), the character does not move close enough to the crops to effectively use the item on them. The item is used indefinitely, but the character is too far away.

While on the Gardener Fran and the Watering Can quest (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=30050), when the watering can is empty, the profile does not go back to the quest NPC to refill it, but continues to run around indefinitely trying to water objects with no success.

68-80 quest profile help

hey guys I love kickz questing profile but am having an issue in WOTLK area 68-80, when i start it from Dalaran my toon goes to a vendor outside of dalaran then won't leave her, heres the log thanks : ) also I'm not running any add ons

Character idles indefinitely at this location during the Cheer Up, Yi-Mo quest (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=30082):

Manually moving and interacting with Yi-Mo this one time allows the quest to progress and complete eventually.

Moves to this specific location and idles indefinitely for the Crane Mastery quest (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=30352):

If you move to the nearby beach (without stopping HB), it will target the correct mob and continue as intended. See below for beach location where the profile will continue.

Character idles (does not attack) at this location during the first objective of the Cleaning House quest (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=30078):

When the small bubbles spawn that you need to walk over in order to interact with Eddy's bubble, the character moves to walk over them, but stops after about 0.5 seconds and does not move until it eventually is killed.

Character does not move to interact with the barrels in order to stun the second objective mob (Jooga). The character eventually dies.

Character "hides" (see below) behind the pillar (seeming to idle) when the main third objective mob (Fizzy Yellow Alemental) spawns. Does not get credit when the mob eventually dies due to never hitting the mob.

My 43 level warlock has stuck in feralas. First i thought that there are some quests i need to be done for chain quests but nope, my toon is here for like 2 and a half level and doing green quests. Tried to stop and start honorbuddy million times but its not work. When will this end end and my toon will start to do yellow ones? and what happanes if the toon moves the next area so late that he starts to do greens again? Any idea?
 
@Arzamar Same problem here. It will do all the quest and after this, it'll move to the next area (that you're supposed to be, which will probably be green for you). What i recommend is to level manually till you hit the level of the next area (like, next area is 45, grind, do quest manually. dungeons, whatever) and start the Kick's profile. It'll move to the correct zone.

@Kicks, i'm going for my 5th toon leveling through your profile (thanks!) and i found an issue playing as Alliance during the quest "Remove Their Arms" (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=25713). It'll always stuck when trying to bomb the horde crates. I think it's a mesh issue, but maybe playing with waypoints and hotspots this can be fixed.
 
Often times the quest mobs for the Pages of History quest (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=30002) bug out and you get this warning message (No path available):

The Bookworms take FOREVER to despawn and it's basically idling indefinitely at this point.

Hi,

I have been using honorbuddy the last week with kick's 1-90 profile, 1-58 on 3 bots just a few niggles but on the whole very impressed!

Now one of my toons (Horde faction) has switched to the 'BC to EK' profile and walked into PVP Alliance territory and keeps getting insta-killed!

Do I have to walk my toon out manually to the correct location and where is that to pickup the next chain of quests?

Hi,

I've been using Cavas Profiles for level 1-50 now but unfortunately, it's not really working well now for me.
So I decided to go back, using Kicks Profiles.

I'm using Kicks profiles via the BuddyStore and I do have a huge problem.
It's the "kill between hotspots" (feature) that drives me crazy.

Since Kicks profiles automaticly sets the kill between hotspot feature, I'm not able to turn it off and
my toon is killing every single mob in its way, reducing the leveling speed tremendously.

Is there a way to turn off kill between hotspots for Kicks profiles?
It's not working when I turn it off in the HB settings.

Hi

I have Problems with questing in the valley of the four winds.
Logged in, started the bot and it tries to target Monstrous Plainshawk but i dont't have a quest with this Mobs.
Started with lvl 87 with MoP Questing, didn't quest before. It ran without Problems until now (only stuck under a house onetime).
