HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

Earlier today, while running Kick's MoP 85-90 profiles, I became stuck at Xiao in the Valley of Four Winds. My character just stands on top of Xiao and doesn't proceed any further. After searching through this thread, I discovered that this is not the first time this exact issue was reported, so I followed the limited guidance that was provided, including:

1) Clearing the caches per the instructions at ( https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/honorbuddy-guides/108771-help-desk.html#post1067458 ). And 2) Clean install of Honobuddy.

However, the recommendations didn't work; I just tried to run the profiles again and the problem still persists. Here is the log file: View attachment 136032 ,. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You are very resourceful taking those two steps, because that's the first things we would've suggested. From your log, the profile appears to be issuing the correct directives:

This really does look like a caching or phasing issue, but there can be a number of other causes for it, also. Please try the remedies described in this article, and see if it will help you sort the problem:

If that doesn't get you off and away, try picking up The Search for the Hidden Master, turn it in, and start Honorbuddy again. It seems this quest is bugged for some people. It may take some detective work to get around the problem. Here is a relevant note from WoWhead:

"I had a bug where after the completion of Chen and Li Li (with no difference in quests complete) my friend was able to obtain this quest and the following ones and I was not able to. I talked to a GM about it. If you have this same bug you must complete the quests: A Seemingly Endless Nuisance and A Poor Grasp of the Basics in order for Xiao to finally offer this quest and his following quests."​

Although switching computers was a brilliant attempt, the lack of success confirms that the problem lies in a damaged quest state that we must get corrected.

If still no joy, please show us a fresh log, and the current problem you see.

its also stuck in howling fjord on "loading tiles" reloaded about 5 times, got nowhere, please let me know what else I could do :D

Hello, I have been using the questing 1-58 Horde on my first bot character. I turned off the kill between hotspots in the settings and when running from area to area during questing the character still gets off his mount to kill every single mob it ever sees along the way. It's inefficient with a 100% mount, unrealistic increasing chances of being accused of botting, and it just irks me to watch. I hope not to offend. I just noticed it and thought I would post.

Is there any way whether it be in the settings or script to stop it from doing that? Or would it be too big of a rework for me to do personally with little experience in writing?

Hi, JustBuddy,

The KillBetweenHotspots setting only affects grinding, and not anything else (e.g., traveling to do a quest pickup or turnin). Basically, changing its value has almost no effect in a normal questing profile.

Honorbuddy should only be clearing mobs in its path that it feels are 'unsafe' if they start accumulating as it travels while mounted. Honorbuddy takes your relative level and mother things into account to make these decisions. Obviously, you do not agree with Honorbuddy's conservative heuristics for making these decisions. And, the heuristics are not under profile control. However, the whole thing becomes a non-issue at level 60 when you can fly.

One thing to check...
Do you have "Loot Radius" set excessively high (greater than 55) in your configuration? This will cause the problem you describe, if so. Good settings for this value are usually between 45-50.

It sounds like you're using the Grind bot instead of the Questing bot. If you would like assistance, you must attach your full log so we can have a look.

how to disable some quests? quests don't work...

we need tree of quests to disable them, cos' some of them bot didnt finish, just became stuck at NPC and didnt nothing. I got msg - Bot stopping! Reason: Could not create current in quest bot!

Hi, AdamGibson,

The profiles work fine.

It is unwise to try to remove quest from the profile. Many quests enable later quests, so its not a simple matter of removing the offending quest from the profile. In each expansion pack, Bliz seems to depend more and more heavily on quest 'chains' that develop a particular story. The 'phased areas' that Bliz now relies heavily upon is a consequence of these quest chains.

Yes, that is normal. It is looking for the Eroded Leather Case to drop from one of them. If you go to the "Info" tab on Honobuddy, the profile tells you what it is up to. You can find more information here:

We was about to write up a bug report for this. But in further examining your log, I believe your Honorbuddy installation is damaged in some insidious way. Here are some examples:

Several of these type of errors that shouldn't be there:

Hello,

Can you please fix the Ogri'la Rep Profile? I am running it on a lvl 90 undead rogue and it just wanders around the Ogri'la area and kills a few mobs. But doesn't complete any of the quests.

hi guys

new here - be nice :P

read all the FAQ but i didnt see anything on my issue (slap me if i missed it)

im very new to HB but this profile stopped after level 6 and then each time i click start it doesnt go anywhere, just stands there on a dwarf alliance character.

one time it flew me to ironforge and then ran me all the way back to the level 6 zone, but won't do anything else after.

do i need to put it in a certain spot or do something to get it going again?
 
i keep getting Warning: Errors in quest behaviors! every time i try starting the bot anyone can help me sort this plz
 
CATA profiles are fucked up at the moment... bot still wants to pick quests which can't be picked up since there are q chains so he is stucked

i had to do several quests by hand to get him on the quest which he wants to pick up ... this happend like 5-6 times during hyjal and deepholm leveling
