HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the profile pack, but it's my best guess and I thought I'd ask here.

Hello, I have been using the questing 1-58 Horde on my first bot character. I turned off the kill between hotspots in the settings and when running from area to area during questing the character still gets off his mount to kill every single mob it ever sees along the way. It's inefficient with a 100% mount, unrealistic increasing chances of being accused of botting, and it just irks me to watch. I hope not to offend. I just noticed it and thought I would post.

Is there any way whether it be in the settings or script to stop it from doing that? Or would it be too big of a rework for me to do personally with little experience in writing?
 
Hello, ever since i updated the profile packs last night, my character just sits there and grinds mobs instead of questing.

how to disable some quests? quests don't work...

we need tree of quests to disable them, cos' some of them bot didnt finish, just became stuck at NPC and didnt nothing. I got msg - Bot stopping! Reason: Could not create current in quest bot!
 
Hello, again!

It took a couple of hours, but I completed a fresh install and update of WoW and HB on a different computer (my notebook), and the problem persists - stuck standing on top of Xiao in Valley of the Four Winds. Is there a way to have HB skip Xiao? Thank you!

having an issue with the 1-58 horde questing where my lvl 46 monk mounts goes to flight path then the bot just repeats "Moving to Type: QuestPickUp" over and over. like pages of the same line. do i need to do something or whats wrong that i need to fix.

Guys, my solution is... (sorry for my english)

Exmaple:
I became stuck at NPC-Shademaster Kiryn in Kun-Lai Summit.

1. find NPC in wowhead http://www.wowhead.com/npc=59449
2. NPC has 2 quests: Cho's Missive and Deanimate the Reanimated
3. open XML file (use program - Sublime Text 2 free) and Find the first occurrence of a string Cho's Missive :

Hello! I've been using this bot to level up a lot of Alliance characters, and it's working FLAWLESS! (Y) but today, for the first time I'm trying to level a Horde with this. 1-58 was running flawless for me, but now that I'm in Outlands (Hellfire, to be more specific) it was only doing a couple of Quests, but now it's just grinding the Marauding Crust Bursters. Is it supposed to do so?
 
Profile has been working flawlessly. I have leveled 5 horde toons 1-90 with this and its simply amazing. However, yesterday I started an alliance toon and for some reason it seems the profile is a few levels behind as my ingame toons level is ahead of the quests and its only doing green quests. Is there a fix for this or is this a common issue? I can submit a log if need be.
 
I keep getting stuck with my Shaman.. It just makes a big loop - Not attacking anything or if it does its cause it was attacked... Heres the log..

Hey guys, been having an issue with the quest "Monitoring the rift: Sundering Chasm" in Northrend. The bot will fly out to where it needs to go, dismount, remount, dive down a bit, go back up and repeat. All the while spamming that it is stuck. Not sure if that is a profile issue or a navigation issue. It does keep spamming this over and over again in the log file.

After a few seconds it changes to spamming this.

The time stamps are when it starts and goes on for about 10min until I noticed it. If this is a navigation issue let me know and Ill post it up in that thread. Log file attached.

We've never had quest issues in Howling Fjord. This sounds like a problem with your Honorbuddy installation. If you need assistance, please see [post=1259963]Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance[/post]. In particular, we will need to see your full log before we can analyze an issue, and take corrective actions.

Hi, Toml96, and thanks for the log.

It looks like you were having problems entering the portal for the encounter area. This problem should be repaired in v3386.

It looks like you manually moved your toon through the portal into the cavern. And somehow the battle got started before the 25551-Hyjal-TheFirelord.cs quest behavior got a chance to run. So, the encounter wasn't under control of the profile because of this.

Hopefully, the recent portal fix will clear all this up.

Hi, Maaxk,

Your profiles must be out of date. We added a blackspot for that 'hole' behind the building a while back.

Please update your copy of the profiles, and if you continue to encounter the problem, show us a full log.

Toon ends up at Thunder Bluff (with a dialog from Honorbuddy instructing the player to go get the flame, and flight the guards or jump).

The problem --- Thunder Bluff is not the Mulgore flame. In fact, there is no acheivment requirement to obtain ANY of the major cities flames anymore. However, I grabbed the flame anyway.... then resumed the bot, where it proceeded to fly me right into the cross-hairs of the Horde bat guards for a nice insta-stun, where oddly, the char did not fight back even though singular was enabled. It did however prevent me from moving away from getting mirked inside the town --- just supah. So death run, back to corpse (after stopping the bot), and manually getting the Mulgore flame which is not on your path at all --- in fact ... over 50% of the flames are NOT on the endless circuit that keeps looping back to TB --- even after having the stupid quest object from TB flame ---- the bot still wants to go there just cuz "Mulgore" isn't in it's completed list..... or.... well.... even after I completed Mulgore by hand, flew to uldum,.... then around.... did all the little stops like it was gonna pick a flame.... and then back to frggen TB again.

Also noticed that in picking up the quests for the flames it does do -- it's super slow.... like 4-25 seconds of just standing there staring at the flame ... then it clicks.... and again... another wait thats just as long, then complete, or abort... and if abort, it just does it again. Similarily, this behaviour is experienced throughout the quest profiles for all hand-in's. Pick-up's, seem to be at about twice as fast as the turn in's.

Hi, Hackersrage, and sorry you had difficulties.

Stealing the Horde major city's flames:
So yes, those flames from enemy cities are needed to get you the goal we seek in that profile.

The delays are needed due to some connections and servers taking an unreasonable amount of time to 'wink in' the seasonal objects such that you can safely interact with them. We have no control of this, but must accommodate it nevertheless.

I did run these profiles personally this year on 5 alliance toons, and didn't recall any of the problems you describe. We do know the profiles need to be made Honorbuddy stop/start friendly, which they currently are not. Sadly, since the event is over, we've no way to go back and try to replicate the looping you describe. Will have to give it a look again next year, but thanks for the report.

Hi, SHJordan, and thank you for the log.

As we've stated many times, mailing issues are not a profile problem. The profile is not even running when a vendor run is in progress.

The problem appears to be a bug in Singular, and its already been captured in HB-1007 ("Honorbuddy unexpectedly dismounts in flight"). We've attached your log to the bug report. Hopefully, this will make the problem quicker to find.

Open the profile you are currently on and search for questorder and change the value.

EDIT: Sorry about the previous statement it completed the quest once i think and then it just kept trying to hand it in due to it being a repeatable quest.

He is supposed to go to coords 29.19 x 53.98 and board the carriage and leave the area.
Instead he goes to the top tower in manor at 42.83 x 21.97 and sits there until it gets disconnected.

This has happened to me on two other toons also.

Hey Folks, the toon is doin' this everytime, no matter if I've just relogged and restarted the WoW-Client and HB.

I don't know what I'm doin' wrong and I hope you can help me with this problem.

Things I have done to solve the problem:

- Downloaded all meshes and put 'em into a new folder in the HB direction (set a link in HB to this direction)

- Cleared the HB-cache

Please see [post=1259963]Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance[/post]. Specifically, we will need the full log attached. What you've provided is output from Honorbuddy's scrolly window, and not a log. The scrolly window output does not contain much information we need to see.
