hi im having a problem with this pack all i get when i load profile and start the questing bot is

Hi, Chento, and many thanks for the log.

I can find nothing that would cause this problem. We tested the issue, and are unable to replicate it. So, this leads us to the following:

• You may have modified the profile pack, and forgotten.
  When you 'update' the profile pack, it preserves any edits you made as long as they don't conflict with the new changes. If this may be the case, you will want to delete your local copy of the profiles, and redownlaod them again. Just follow the instructions for [post=1259749]Obtaining a Copy of the Profiles[/post].
  
  
• Somehow, your Honrobuddy installation is damaged in a fashion that is not visible in the logs.
  If refreshing the profile pack doesn't solve the problem, the next step is to try a "clean install". This article will help you through that process:

Hi kick,

I encountered another problem. It tries to fetch a quest from: Trapper Mau'j in Dragonblight. Problem is there is no quest.

Also, is the sleeping dragon egg quest solved kick? The one I posted earlier? Where the dragon goes to sleep, and then the bot should steal the eggs of the dragon, but it doesn't?

EDIT: I'm retarded, and forgot to update the SVN. It was fixed in the update. However, is the dragon egg quest fixed? I thought it was in blasted lands, though im not sure.

EDIT 2: He's back again at the same spot, trying to get the quest from the same Trapper Mau'j. Thought it was fixed, but it isn't. Check 2nd log.

Quest: The Arcanic Oubliette http://www.wowhead.com/quest=30274 in Krasarang Wilds (MoP 87-88 profile) doesn't work, character can't click on shackles to destroy them so he runs through shield and it teleports him to the starting point again and again. I was stucked here with several characters during past 3 months and had to make it manually everytime.

Level 67 B-Elf Hunter

Did all the quests in Nagrand, now it just runs back and forth along the southern road by the lake south of Sunspring Post. Just keeps going back and forth. I tried manually moving him to Shadowmoon Village but he didn't pick up any quests. Just flew back to Nagrand and resumed running back and forth. Hearthstoned to Ogrimmar. Same thing. Ported to the portal, once inside Cata, flew back to Nagrand and started running back and forth again. I'll take this as my cue to start playing him myself and grind out a few levels.

The "running back and forth" will be a navigational problem with HBcore, and not a profile issue. If we can find a testbed for this problem, we'll certainly write up bug report. But, the log is not showing us enough information to do that at the moment.

If u unchecked the "auto-equip" option in "settings and tools" it should be fine.

What profile are u running ?


Just checked it.
- open any of the Kick's profiles
- search for
<CustomBehavior File="UserSettings" AutoEquip="true" />

- change true -> false

Thanks for the reply. Unchecking the "auto-equip" definitely does not work. So I opened the profile and searched for all mentions of "auto-equip" and changed all of them to "false" and this seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you

(Now I just have to remember to do the same to the other profiles! Lol!)

We are glad you are off, and thank Kmica for answering your issue. Can you please explain why you would ever turn AutoEquip off while you are leveling? We understand why you may do it at 90, but not while leveling.

If AutoEquip is making bad decisions, we need to know that. We already submitted HB-880 ("AutoEquip: Inappropriately rolling "Greed"") a few days ago, but that should only affect Dungeon loot, and not Questing.

If you are wearing Heirlooms, AutoEquip should also be doing the 'right thing' in this case. If not, again we need to know about these issues.

I've been running the profile for Horde ([H - Quest] 12-58 K-EK [Kick]) and all was running fine, until toon got to Karnum's Glade (at lvl 35) and now it keeps saying "I don't want to move <0, 0, 0>" - I've tried running about a bit and restarting the bot in various places, but it keeps stopping with the same message. I've attached the log from when it happened (I stopped the bot and tried restarting it but kept getting the same issue).

Unfortunately, it appears that some forum damage still lingers. When I click on the link, it takes me back to the main forum instead of showing me the attachment. I've reported this issue to the forum maintainers, but can't act on your problem until we can see that log.

Character targets monster but won't attack

Hello,

my character will target a monster, approach it and come just within attack range (at least 40 yards as lightning bolt becomes castable) and then stops. If I attack the monster manually the bot will take over, kill the bot, and move on. If I move the character forward with the bot running it will begin attacking the monster when it gets close enough, even though the spells where in range at the position it stopped at. The honorbuddy console says "setting [target] at [x] yards as your target". If i don't intervene the bot will stand there until the monster wanders a little closer which may take several minutes or not happen at all.

Notice I changed <TargetMaxLevel>80</TargetMaxLevel> to 80. When I updated the profile with SVN, it changes the targetmaxlevel to 69. Make sure it's 72+!

EDIT: This is because the mobs the bot will be farming, are 69-72.
I am using this profile right now, and it's running very smooth. 621 kills/hr with a 562 retri paladin.

More problems, China. I am in Borean Tundra and the script can't do the quest "The Sub-Chieftans" for nothing. It doesn't dismount, when you have to, and it doesn't use items found. I would classify the whole quest as broken.

Second, when attempting to do the quest "Monitoring the Rift: Sundered Chasm", the bot moves me into the water, then I bounce in and out of the water with repeated "We are stuck!" errors. It's not stuck, it moves through the water just fine, but it keeps going under and popping up.

Wanna report a bot flying back and forth issue. As I had alot problems with my bot I clean installed HB again. Logged into my druid with just one quest in the log "The eyes of Skettis". So bot is the flying from Allerian Stronghold to Shattrath and instead of delivering the quest and go on it fly back to Allerian Stronghold with flying mount. Then doing same loop again flightmaster flying to Shattrath and mount flying back to Allerian again. Also my bot whining in log about flight form not supported (also reported by other users). Log attached. I aint gonna chk this thread or reply further, this info is for you devs to revise for improvements in HB. I expect bot to work and wont hassle more with it as I don't really have time for it. Take my report for what it is and use it or not. Thanks.

Still up to its old tricks. I leveled past the quest that wouldn't work and piled up a bunch of new quests in Coldarra. The bot promptly erased all quests and said moving to quest giver, used a ground mount and ran up a mountain until it got stuck. Tried activating the flying mount, it promptly got rid of it and went to the ground mount again.

While running the \Classic\[A - Quest] EK 12-58 [Kick] ($Rev: 3299 $) profile in Northern Stranglethorn Vale, my bot attacked the Level 90 Nesingwary Hired Gun, standing near Nesingwary's Expedition (44,23). I added this to the Avoid block:

Edit: It looks like he was actually trying to attack the Young Stranglethorn Tiger near the camp, but as a mage he used an AOE freeze on the tiger, which was standing near the Hired Gun, which triggered aggro because the AOE hit both of them. He was one-shot repeatedly as he tried to leave the camp and resume questing, so it might be safer to at least blacklist right where the Hired Gun stands at the entrance.
