HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

true story.. happend to me to. i was lucky i was on the computer then, but i watching the bot got teleport back...

Problem: When its sapposed to activate the three gears to remove the purple energy dome, it does not. Instead it runs all the way around to where the 3rd gear is and try's entering inside the dome which causes you to be ported back to the NPC on the opposite side of the dome. It continues this pattern until you stop it. By then any bystander's have already reported you for seeing this. I'm seeing in console log it shows its trying to learn fly from the guy inside the portal but in order to get inside you must first activate the 3 crystals :O

I then went ahead and manualy did this and learned flying then started back up (Not in log), it then got stuck trying to complete a quest from some guy named Khang bamble something which is right outside the energy dome. I had to abandon this quest cause he's only available from BEFORE you unlock the energy dome. So it needs to complete his quest first, then use the 3 crystals to unlock the dome, then learn flying. Once it does it in that order it should have no issues continueing.

This has happend on all of my bots every time this quest comes up. Never even a single time has it succeeded in working, i have always had to manually do that quest. It just needs to use the gears (Crystals x3) and then it would work perfectly.

So far this profile has been pretty good to me. Im still early level. Will report back. Thank you OP.
 
On two toons, my character wants to Grind trough the levels. one grinded to level 45, then flew to badlands and wanted to grind to level 48 once it got there.
Another flew to deepholm, Grinded out to level 83, then went to Uldum and wants to continue grinding there.

I have tried manually picking up quests in the area to see if that will get them back on track with no luck

I don't see it either but i did learn to update via svn :-) glad i came across this. I am having a issue with starting in howling, it is trying to pickup quest from Caption zorek but he does not offer one. Im gonna follow some previous suggestions and clean cache.

** Was going to post a log about Hb/profile trying to pickup quest from Captian Zorek but i did a few things that got it going. I am not sure as to what actually fixed it.
#1 cleaned cache as posted at beginning of this thread.
#2 i manually picked up quest from npc on the dock, completed it, turned in and accepted quest from npc patrolling by tent. Completed that manually as well prior to deleting cache folders in HB ONLY** i did not have the patience to redownload the patches for WOW client which seemed to be a result of deleting the wow caches.

I want to THANK everyone that is involved with the HB operation as well as you KICK i am still in shock at how awesome your work and effort is. I will be donating soon and would love to discuss custom profiles.

Flight vs. Ground in Hellfire

I see another point of possible future improvement in BC profile. I understand that many people don't run the whole zones, but at around half of the progress in Hellfire the bot start using flight mount less and less, leading in quite a waste of time in some cases. I have notices at least two significant situations:

Overlord - after killing Arazzius the quest is supposed to be turned in in Honor Hold, which is on the opposite side of the Penninsula across Hellfire Citadel. Instead of just flying there the bot decides to mount up a ground mount and grind its way through the citadel walls.

An Ambitious Plan - This one's even worse. The quest is given in Temple of Telhamat while the objective is at the very southern area of Hellfire, the worst about this one is the bot decides to run just through the horde base of Falcon Watch, being killed over and over by lvl 90 guards.

There are many more quests that would be done much faster if the bot used flight mount more often, especially when going to pick-up or turn-in a quest.

(I've compressed the log since it's quite large.)

To your first point...
Yes, we plan to pull flying into Hellfire sooner. This is on our TODO list, but very low priority at the moment.

As far as running through Falcon Watch, this is a navigation issue, and [post=1503038]we've moved your post[/post] to the Navigation thread to have it resolved.

My character wont seem to skip any mobs what so ever, so it makes the questing/travelling a lot longer than normal.

Not sure if this problem comes from the Kick's 1-90 pack, or TuanHA Rogue CR..
Posting a log just so we got that covered incase this is where the problem can be solved.
I do apologize if this should be posted in the support-part of Kick's profiles.

This is more for when we release a lot of behaviors at a time... ie: when an major xpac has been released and while those profiles are in beta. (like beginning of mop for instance, and the few months after)

Thank you for this. The profile pack no longer ships with Quest Behaviors. In v3219, we've updated the instructions in the "README" file to reflect this reality.

Hi, Adrimofo,

This shouldn't be a CR issue, as Honorbuddy shouldn't be transferring control to the CR unless it actually wants to kill things. This is also not a profile issue.

Honorbuddy tends to be conservative about clearing mobs in its path. It will ride through mobs in its path, if they are adequately low level. However, since some classes tend to be very squishy, it will clear what it thinks is best. You might not agree with the decisions, but such is the design.
