Same problem, just go long way across mobs.


Has anyone tried setting the follow distance to a lower number? I'm curious about what causes this besides the obvious. Because it jumps down just fine in LFR Part 1.

Have you tried disabling movement in your routine and letting Dungeonbuddy handle the movement entirely?

Not finger point, I just know there are plenty of people running these dungeons so there has to be quirks that we can iron out on our own until they can fix it on their end.

healers seem to be a common issue, which is why I suggested lower follow distance.
 
i am SO glad to run LFR manually. i wasn't even aware of the rune-usage until i got pointed to this.

by fast-skimming through this thread (not counting deleted posts) i've counted 14 posts concerning this "feature". out of the 62 still remaining in this thread
this means roughly 1/4 does not want this or wants a toggle. there have been posts that fix this "feature" - dirty or clean.

is there some kind of an official response to it? something along the lines of
"this is not on the list! even if it is 4 lines of code or replacing 3 item id's until (fill in reason here)"
or
"this is on the list! but after (fill in reason here)"
or
"this is on the list! low prio to implement toggle option"

as we've learned (if read at least page 3&4) they are treasured as the extra oompf to either ones wallet or performance in raid.

how does this get "ignored" so well? i mean deleting rant-posts like "omfg stfuuu disable rune bullshit" is all but wrong, but 11 days for a quick dirty fix?
or are there any ppl that actually want runes to be used by dungeonbuddy except the creators?

excellent post. prevalent problem in general with this bot tbh. devs usually do the minimum and like any conglomerate and its patrons, communication is minimum to non existent.

but yea, i used one of the "dirty" fixes posted and its still using runes so i checked back for a permanent update/solution. Apparently it doesnt exist yet.

Try my fix on page 3.
You can either edit the itemid's so bot think you have none.
Or you can delete the whole runt part. Whatever floats your boat.

I would be very surprised if they don't make runes a feature you have to enable manually. :)
 
Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with the bot not following in raids like it should, it does it to me on certain characters only, my dk works fine with singular or tuanha, same with my paladin, but my druid and priest wont move at all, all configs are set up identical, changing CR changes nothing, just seems like dungeonbuddy doesnt like certain classes, because it does it on two of my pcs, all with fresh installs due to the recent amount of releases, I will attach logs if this is happening to anyone else, and this is in regards to running the LFR wings for wod
 
In LFR "arcane sanctum" bot chose a wrong path. Normali, people do tectus turning to left, bot takes another path (front) who is never cleaned by the players. If player dies he make a non clean path to the boss.

the BEST way to do this i suppose would be to write the line as such:

//rune.UseContainerItem();

Just comments it out rather than deleting it. Just remember you have to do this AFTER the update today. I forgot and used up like 3 augment runes before i realized it ):

Sorry if this is a stupid question, i've not used DB much before. Is there any way of getting it to accept and complete dungeon quests ? At the moment it just runs past the quest givers.

It should accept most, but not all quests. Don't know how it is with WoD dungeons, but up to MoP I guess 75% of the quests are solved. Some quests are not scripted.
 
Hello, Every one. I want to use MY level 100 Hunter to solo dungeon in group of 3 members(the two are low level 80).
The hunter is hanged at "waiting for healther to get closer".
I tried to set the range to largest... seems It's limited to 35.
I tried to overwrite the dungeon script HandleMovement, It doesn't work.

Even, I considered to create a new Bot for soloing low level dungeon more effeetive in group. It's hard for me because of my poor knowlege of HB API.

Any suggestion?
 
kicked from another walled city cause it just runs into mobs at the beginning instead of all the circumvention crap groups do these days. To be fair, rejects dont res anymore. <3 online kids almost scary thinking they'd do people like that irl.
 
gnomeregan instance is not recommended as people jump down on the screw thing at start while the bot runs the path which aggros alot of mobs and dies.. repeatedly.
 
Hey highvoltz. Just started using dungeon buddy for the first time ever. Don't know why I didn't before but one thing I noticed is that when I run LFR it will use my augment runes if there isn't one active. Is there a way to disable to. I think many of us would appreciate this being off by default. Thanks.
 
Hi.. Im running DB on a lvl 100 team, currently only on normals because of their gear. I noticed something from Shadowmoon Burial Grounds - Ner'zhul encounter.
When the rital of bones wave comes towards the group the ranged dps does not dps the mob that needs to die so the whole team dies. The melee dps also tend to die from this mob because he is too close, but i dont know if thats a CR problem or a DB issue.

Also on Grimrail there is alot of LOS issues that needs to be addressed inorder for the bot to function properly.

This stupid bot sold 15 stacks of the new 125 stat food I bought --- how can I blacklist or stop it from doing stupid stuff like that?
 
Are there any proving ground profiles anywhere - dps and/or tank?

If not, is there another afk way to do proving grounds, at least to silver?

Oracle did gold AFK with a druid healer, but its the only CR that I have that seems to be able.
 
Hello, I'm running a 5man dungeon team and they get stuck a lot on the first boss in Shado-Pan Monastery, they move to the boss and then the tank gets the message "Waiting on group members to enter enounter room for Gu Cloudstrike" and they are all just standing next to him and will stand there untill I get "INACTIVITY TIMER TRIPPED! LOGGING OUT!" I've tried setting follow distance on everyone to 5 but doesn't help, is there a way I can personally remove this wait sequence and just pull the boss without waiting?

Summary: Get stuck before pulling the boss with the message "Waiting on group members to enter enounter room for Gu Cloudstrike"
Class: Death Knight
CustomClass: Singular
Role: Tank
Queue Type: Random MoP Heroic
Party Mode: 5 man Leader
Dungeon: Shado-Pan Monastery

Iron docks on heroic needs some better tweaking on the avoiding. My ranged classes, tanks and such dies alot on the first boss. Another thing also is the tank should know turn its back towards the boss, it basicly get one shotted Is that a db issue or a cr?
