yea.. fix this please, dungeonbuddy is giving auto deserter for no reason
Ive looked into this and it appears that you guys fixed it again and again.... its not working for me. character goes into the instance, uses buffs(like crystal of insanity) and then leaves very quickly getting a nice deserter buff. attached is the diagnostic log.View attachment 140418
 
My tanks don't run away from the spell Deathforce cast by Abomination of Anger in the heroic scenario Crypt of Forgotten Kings
Having similar problem with this, and other scenarios as well. It seems to be competing with the combat routine for movement. I know one of the recent Singular updates added 'moving out of bad stuff' so maybe there is a conflict? I've tried different combinations of disabling/enabling movement in the routine and the bot without much luck.

We've opened HB-1116 ("Crypt of Forgotten Kings: Tank not avoiding Deathforce") against this issue.

As Joker76 has pointed out, there have been some recent changes to Singular that may be interfering with proper DungeonBuddy operation.

I am having trouble with my toon attacking stuff the rest of the party bypasses. How do I stop this. Also is there any way to adjust the rez acceptance time? Immediate acceptance is a problem.

Boss: Jin Rhock
Please let Melee Classes stay near the Boss. If the Tank dont get the Boss to the Waterplace to get the Buff all Melee Classes run crazy around between the Water spawnplace and the Boss!
And the Running back and forward. If there was a Wipe. The Toon runs into the Instance and run to the Tank or the Player who is far away. But whe all other join the Instance again my Toons always run back the whole way.

Ok I deleted all the prior logs before rerunning the dungeon so i knew Id have the right log. The log doesnt appear to indicate any issues. I see where it says that It engaged Assad, tried to loot him, It says it moved to X,Y coords (although it didnt go anywhere), and then it just says "user stopped bot". In between it trying to move to the new coords and me stopping the bot though the bot just sat there for a bit saying "You do not have a valid teleport location"

Hey all :) Thanks for your hard work! for some reason lately, the bot just usually sits in one spot and doesn't follow the group until they start attacking a group of mobs which could be like a 30 second head start? just curious if anyone knows why? Thank you all for the hard work! once again.. and thank you four your help.. :)

Hey, i use db to level my 5/5 raf team, but there are a few instances which wont work for me

Caverns of Time 1 - Bots will make the first quest, after that they rush to thrall ignoring all the trash and wipe, after the wipe they continue rushing to thrall and wiping

Throne of Tides - Tank will stand in front of Lady Naz'jar and nothing happens till the Bot dcs because of inactivity

Blackrock Caverns - at the first Boss the Bot will move further, ignoring the Boss and stucks because the big guy killing all the mobs wont come.

The Vortex Pinnacle - Tank stucks in front of the 2nd Boss, wont move till dc.

All reported Issues have been tested 5-10Times

any idea to fix this?

I have the issue with bot leaving dungeons/LFR for no reason aswell.
Tried this morning and the bot did do a dungeon at first but then started leaving for the next ones.

Had this problem before aswell but sometimes it works fine. Must be some flaw in the bot where the bot gets false info about party or something and makes it think it has to requeue I think.

The problem was thought to have been repaired by HB-1015 ("Entering and leaving raids quickly, causing Deserter buff") in the .746 drop, but apparently that's not the case.

Indeed, examining your log yields a different failure mode than HB-1015:
[08:52:38.004 N] (Singular) (Singular) Group Member: party2 enabled but could not be found
[08:52:37.804 N] [DungeonBuddy]: Leaving group. Reason: None

So, DungeonBuddy couldn't "see" one of your party members, and this may be why it took the action it did.

We've opened HB-1118 ("Deserter buff still appears to be an issue") against this issue.

Is there a setting for Db so it only buffs and heals inside the instance, when my teams port out they are always rebuffing and healing while queuing again.

So can we get it to do it inside rather than every time it comes out.

Buffing and healing is done by your combat routine.

One more recommendation --- would it be possible or doable to force lootall on (if its on BossesOnly, not off/none) and only if a quest requires the bot to loot mobs from the instance? One example would be in The Blood Furnace for the quest Make Them Bleed (requires 10x Fel Orc Blood Vials).

Or by chance make an option instead of forcing it (some people may have limited bag space) in the config?

You already have proper tools for inventory management:
  • Ability to loot BossesOnly as you pointed out.
  • Turn dungeon questing off, if needed
  • The game itself makes some very healthy-sized bags available
  • You can empty your bags before you Dungeon dive
Adding the data necessary to know which mobs drop quest items on a per-dungeon basis would overly complicate DungeonBuddy. In short, this is not a feature we would consider.

I have found an issue with the Temple of the Jade Serpent. At the adds in the beginning that drop that blue pool called Sha Residue they sometimes just stand in there and die.

Any way you could fix this?

This was on a fresh boot, no plugins on. It appears that it ran through at least one instance on it's own. Well, it killed one boss in the Underhold but that was it. Here's the attached log. About 2.5 hours worth of data. I came back to see that it was sitting with a debuff, it must've cycled twice because my last combat was about an hour ago at this point.

Although the results are the same, your failure mode is slightly different from the other report of this problem. You encountered a GreyMagic error that caused you to leave the dungeon.

In any case, the information has been added to the report, and hopefully helps isolate the problem.

I've added your description and log to HB-1118 ("Deserter buff still appears to be an issue"). Alas, you have yet a distinct failure mode, and I am not seeing a pattern here, yet.

There is one thing in common between the characters with issues, they all have crystal of insanity.

So maybe this has already been brought up, but I couldn't find anything with a quick google search. An idea that might be useful to many of us DungeonBot users out there would be to have the bot or a plug in change our loot specialization per boss. Maybe have a list of boss for each LFR where we as the user can edit with some sort of drop down for each boss which loot specialization we'd like. For example. Currently from SoO LFR all I need for my main spec is the mastery trinket from Blackfuse. It would be helpful to allow myself the opportunity to get resto gear on every boss except Blackfuse while doing the dungeonbot. Once the bot detects I am on Blackfuse it would automatically change to feral allowing me the chance to get the loot I'd like. Another thing would be an implementation of bonus roll for pre determined bosses. If you're confused by my explanation and would like a more detailed one please let me know I'll try to explain better. If there is something already in the works or just a simple plugin out there please let me know! Thanks so much!
