Gone from Great to Slow

Mine went away on its own, go figure.

So did mine, nothing I tried worked then bang it went as strange as it came.

If your having problems and you want it fixed you **MUST** post your logs please!

How have people with this issue been fixing it, if at all? Reinstalling HB, downgrading to 1.244/1.245, switching to the default profile, rebooting -- none of these seem to work.

I did a complete format and reinstall and still had the same problem, for me it just fixed itself a few days after that, not much help sorry

For my part it definitely wasn't bandwidth related either

There were about 15-20 WoW servers having extensive usage load problems. Mine was one of them. Servers were brought down unexpectedly and some hardware was replaced. The message I got was vague as to exactly what the problem was. But since seeing this message on the login screen my bot has increased its speed greatly. I went from making 25k exp/hour to over 100k exp/hour at all times.

Hawker, this 1.249 client you released is giving some trouble. First it was very faster than the other when it comes to spell casting times, but sometimes it get stuck itself in a mesh, i mean, it stops walking and stay there, unless you move it by yourself or it gets aggro our found a target within pull range it will not move and get afk, disconnecting from wow.

When i tested it it stopped a lot of times in middle of a town or near the vendoring area and went afk, if it was not by the eBored plugin it would loose connection.

Here's a 15 minute run using HB 1.249 and Khryses. The problem of long cast times persists, even after a reboot, a server restart, and the new HB. As you can see, having essentially a 3 second GCD makes it impossible to effectively kill mobs, and as a priest I'm rather helpless when I get adds. I cannot bot this character under these conditions.

This is with the built-in priest CC, and it's even slower than Khryses -- spells are apparently not even casting, and when they do it still takes 3000+ ms. This is on Windows 7 64. I was able to use the same setup (HB 1.245 and Khryses) to level just fine from 18ish to 76, and this problem just cropped up a few days ago. I didn't make any hardware or software changes immediately before this issue arose. The only potential contributor I can think of is that I lost power over the weekend, and I don't have a UPS so my computer shut down. It was only after this that I noticed the cast lag.

This is a ten minute run.

Getting exact same issue here hawker. I have used 3 different CC's on my priest including the built in. I have run both HB versions .7 and .9 on 2 different computers. Other classes run perfectly.

If there are any other diagnostics I can run to help solve this issue, let me know. There are certainly worse things than having to hand level to 80, but I'm spoiled by HB now and feel like my time would be better spent elsewhere.

I remain baffled.

Would it be of any help if those of us that can't force ourselves to have this problem post logs for comparison?

I've personally been trying to create this problem. I've tried all sorts of packs.

Whats everyones frame rate thats having this problem? My bot got considerably faster when I raised my frame rate from 45fps to over 150fps

Its St Patrick Day, I'm Irish and so I am obliged to hit the town soon :o

I'll do another test build for you tomorrow.

jaycrew, can you try with another class, say a warlock or hunter? It might help to know if its a priest problem.

It seems to be exclusively a priest problem, at least for me. Since the issue arose, I've successfully played a rogue, warrior, hunter, and druid -- none have any issue whatsoever.

Delete the Cache subfolder in your WoW directory and try please.

Seems like common sense, but I didn't try this until now. Running smooth as silk after deleting my cache.

Thanks for your persistence and patience in finding a solution!

Hopefully this will be the trick for the other folks with this issue as well.
