Gold Missing on Suspended Account

So even tho the accounts from the banwave were suspended for 6months I was able to still see the gold and inventory on the banned account via the webpage auction house. I could see all my gold and items that could be posted on the AH but could never buy/sell anything due to it being inactive/suspended/banned. This is true for even banned accounts. Up until yesterday I was able to see all my gold. Today when I checked all toons involved in the 6month suspension all of its gold have been removed. Items are still in inventory but no gold. Banned accounts still show gold but the 6month suspended accounts show 0. Anyone else notice this?
 
The ban mail explicitly stated: "Exploitive gains such as items or currency may have been removed as part of this action.".
 
Maybe they ran an audit on your account...Maybe they ran an audit and flagged all accounts with millions of gold on it that were suspended in May and have now started removing gold and items from those accounts.

There's nothing odd about the removal of the gold though. Blizz flat out told you it may happen in the initial ban emails (which someone said above).

In reality, we should all be thankful we're even getting the accounts back in the first place. A few million gold missing really isn't that big of a deal.
 
Sadly people will re bot on the accounts and get banned instantly. Not my lose! :D

Go to the official site. On the character drop down menu select your toon and then go hit the little money bag. That will bring you to the website's remote AH. From there you can see your gold and inventory items that can be sold.
 
Just checked, have all the gold that was on my Characters but it was only about 500k, the rest was in my gbank which I retained control of.

Not really trolling. Asking a legit question if anyone else has had their gold completely taken away. I mean 0g 0s 0c on all toons. Find it kind of odd that others are clear but I got the shaft. Oh well, like others said at least I get my account back.
 
damn that sucks.. but it sounds like you were involved in selling gold, 99.9% who have over 1+million are selling gold or are in top tier guilds who sell carrys. maybe put in a report to blizz see what they say .. I think they would tell you if you contacted support about it.

Just checked my character again on a random whim and found all my characters have 0 gold on them now. So it seems like they are going through in waves and removing all gold from the accounts (or it's a bug with the mobile AH when accessing banned accounts), I wonder what else they will take. And when they said "Gold obtained through botting" what they meant was All Gold, my main account didn't use HB for any gold generating at all and never got gold from my botted accounts. If I remember correctly the e-mail they sent us stated all Gold and Items obtained through automation so I'm a little worried about what will actually be missing come the 13th...

account got frozen
gm stole ur gnomes
now ur account is unbanned again
u can see the actual status.

nothing more to it then that.

Yup just checked mine again and it's all gone now. I didn't have much on my toons anyway so no big loss there.
