In balance spec it should aim to use innervate at 64% mana, innervate itself restores 20% and a euphoria proc from gaining eclipse 16% so should the two coincide it would be a gain of 36% mana. Therefore using it before 64% could waste part of it but if you use it at 64% then the cooldown will complete sooner
DoT application should also happen after every eclipse proc, reason for this being that eclipse resets the Natures Grace cooldown. Both dots should be reapplied IS first which will proc NG (but doesnt gain from it) and then MF. Math behind this is that if you have 54% damage buff from eclipse and add the 15% haste buff from NG you end up at somewhere around 177% of normal damage which makes an NG buffed dot far superior to a non-NG buffed one, add in the fact that at certain haste plateus you gain more ticks on the dots. If the dots fall off between eclipse procs they can be refreshed but its normally a judgement call whether to refresh them or push for the next eclipse proc, usually if im only 2-3 casts from eclipse i just go for that instead of wasting GCDs applying dots that i will overwrite once eclipse is up
Starfall also should be saved for after a lunar proc, although if the T11 proc is up it should hold off until that is consumed first.
As for how to start a boss fight from a neutral state, thats usually a judgement call... alot of advice i see suggests going solar first but i seem to have more luck if i go lunar, simply because it usually means i can get more starfalls off in the duration of the fight
Tried to use this on a couple of trash fights last night in a raid to see how it was doing, it wasnt kicking in and leaving me doing minimal damage so i quickly backed off to not be suspicious or get accused of slacking, should i be using Combat/Heal bot or something else?
