I just experienced this too. Watched the bot not attack or target or attempt to kill Vyragosa. Another player killed it infront of me.

To clarify: this is exactly what I meant with having to kill it manually. The bot did nothing when Vyragosa spawned.

Please update us when you've found/solved the problem, for now I've stopped using the profile, until it's fixed. Would hate missing TLPD.
 
Update; Been there 200 hours. Haven't gotten a kill yet, not even Vyragosa. I've switched between Brunhildar village and bors Breath. Since those 2 are most friendly towards melee.


That's pretty crazy, really surprised it hasn't seen anything yet.




Fourth Vyragosa spawn. Killed.

TLPD spawns: 0

This one happened while I'm monitoring. Watching some TV shows and have 2 campers open on my PC screen. Weirdest thing is, my toon killed it, but he isn't looting it... And he's within loot range too, so what this is a big bug!!

Again, that's really weird it wouldn't loot it at least, I'm not sure why it isn't trying to do that, since natively HB should try and loot it anyways regardless of the profile.


Another kill, manual. Switched camping on other servers and got another vyra kill. Bot didn't attack, is there something wrong since last HB update ?

To be honest that is a possibility. I don't know if they changed any of the things that I use in my profile or what, but if it was working before the patch and it's not now, then that is kind of indicative of that being a potential problem.

I'm not exactly sure what this error means, but make sure you're using the Quest Bot to run this profile.

I took a look at your log and noticed this line right after he killed it:


"Blacklisting 6BF0 for 01:01:01 [Type: All] - Reason: Object is outside of loot range"


So it looks like it died outside of this radius and the bot wouldn't walk over to pick it up. However there is a second line that is supposed to take over and do that for us anyways, but since it was blacklisted it disregarded it from the beginning. So I've modified the loot radius to 100 yards which should be more than enough, and I also made sure that the user setting of loot mobs is also on.

Again this is really weird and I'm not sure if it's partly the new HB or if it's my profile. Seems really weird that the bot would kill it before the patch but not now.

I've made some changes to the profiles and am about to upload them to the store. If you have beta access they'll be up there as well. As it stands, if you bought the profile and want beta access until it's approved please let me know. There is a limitation of 10 slots, so unfortunately atm it's first come first serve.

How exactly can I find the beta profiles ?

edit: Can't seem to find the Spawn Patrol profile. Gonna try a fresh HB install.

edit: Fresh install didn't work. Might be a silly question but where can I find the beta and/or patrol profile :p ?

edit: checked my profile on the buddy store and saw I had to enable beta :)

Honestly, I have had NO problems with this profile with Killing Vyragosa. Over 15 times. And for the people that haven't seen him at all or killed it. YOu are forgetting the fundamental flaw with Northrend rares...... ONLY ONE RARE IN ALL OF NORTHREND can be spawned at one time. SO sitting waiting for TLPD to spawn or Vyragosa to spawn you potentially will never see it. Especially since its very old content and people aren't going out into Northrend and hunting down rares like they used to. In order for TLPD to spawn a rare has to die. So While these profiles are awesome for camping the potential spawn points the tlpd won't ever spawn till we get an other profile to go fly around northrend to other rare spawn sites and kill the rares. At which point the chance of this mount are greatly increased. As from what I know the developer is supposedly working on this to be included in the profile pack. I had ONE problem one and it was with my hunter camping near ulduar spawn point it killed vyragosa and he landed over the edge and i couldn't loot... but other than that never had a problem.

right now i love and hate you! Grats on the mount!!!!!!! I need to get back to farming this up!
 
I won't give up. Just farming up 200k gold on a new server to purchase mythic HFC mount...TLPD will always be there and easy to camp farm. I just don't wanna go from a 100% HFC mount to 1% farming my brains out mount runs. I am really happy that we have a confirmed kill and looted tho! I used your subdued seahorse script and it was great!

PS: His head is facing outwards. Means this is a a different TLPD than the guy who posted before me just now.
