just every time i log on his in my alerts n no loot

What are you using for these alerts? An addon? I can't really tell you much without a log.

With "his" you mean TLPD?

And with every time you mean you've seen his alert multiple times?

Assuming TLPD will spawn once in every 36 Vyragosa spawns, I'd say that's pretty lucky. Please confirm what I just asked.

Also, if it´s any help, personally I´m running the Bor´s Breath profile. Try running that one.

Second Vyragosa spawn. Alert but no loot in bag. Upon further inspection I saw 2 other players camping my spot. They probably got the kill.

Stats:

Vyra spawns: 2
Vyra loots: 1
TLPD spawns: 0
TLPD loots: 0

Like Resedahb said, it may have very well spawned but other players may have tagged and killed it. It really is hard to tell what's going on if it isn't being monitored.

Current Stats over 10 days of farming on 3 accounts
Vrya spawns-13
Vrya Kills and loots-9
TLPD Spawns-2
TLPD Kills and loots-0
I would suggest that everyone using this profile and not constantly watching it to not camp bors fall because there is buggy interaction with looting vrya and TLPD (it falls in an unlootable spot on the mountain after being killed most of the time). Also there may be a problem with killing TLPD or i am very unlucky, because at two different camping spots ive had the same error happen in both spawns of TLPD. That being that HB was unable to reach the target then it goes and succeeds in interacting with TLPD but blacklists it and doesnt ever go through the killing phase of the profile. So either these were both flukes and I was just unlucky or there is a problem with interacting with TLPD. Hope these stats help, overall this is a great profile for killing vyra so I can only hope that I will be able to say the same about TLPD.

Third Vyragosa spawn. Killed.

Stats:

Unfortunately the Bor's Fall and Ulduar Ravine spots don't leave a lot of room for the body to land to be looted, so you really just gotta be quick and lucky. I'm still working on optimizing the encounter to try and make it more efficient. Glad it's at least killing Vyra, means that it should be doing the same with TLPD.

Third Vyragosa spawn. Killed.

Stats:

Vyra spawns: 3
Vyra kill/loots: 2

Thanks for the update!

Yeah i have spawned and kill Vyragosa like 9 times and no TLPD spawn..... there is a fundamental flaw in this camping.... and its rooted in how the TLPD is spawned.... He is spawned when the rare spawns in Northrend are killed.... In order for him to spawn these rares have to die. Since there can only be one northrend rare up at a time. it was easier to get TLPD whenWrath was current because people would be killing the rares now... who the f goes out and kills northrend rares.

I think an amazing way to optimize this TLPD bundle would be to include a Northrend tour to the rare spawn sites to kill them. However this also requires you to be multi boxing camping the TLPD in Storm Peaks... I currently have all 4 spawn sites camped and would love to have my 5th account going around to kill the rares to help spawn TLPD faster. Yes i have 5 accounts right now... getting my RAF mounts finally... buying game time with wow tokens.. Love how they added that in so I don't have to spend more real money on this damn game.

Anyways just a thought on how to optimize this. I would make a profile myself but honestly i have no idea how to Maffyx... if you wanna help me i'd be down!

I forgot about that fact, I'll definitely try to whip something up to get this optimized.

Okay wtf. In all my time I've never heard about that theory, lostmyz. All rares have to be killed for TLPD to spawn? Please link some info on this.

It's not all rares but the more rares that die the better the chance it has to spawn. Applebees linked this earlier in the thread, seems pretty comprehensive on the subject:

http://www.pondbrain.com/notsorare/tlpd/howto.html

If you want to speed up spawn times you absolutely have to have a friend / multiple friends out killing every single rare they can find in Northrend. Yes, they are definitely connected. We did the research and it was absolutely conclusive that keeping the rares killed in Northrend caused the spawns of Vyra/TLPD to happen literally twice as fast. The spawn times went from 14-20 hours in betwen to 6-11. So that's an average of 8-10 hours into a live spawn window dropped down to 0-5 hours after. And this was before cataclysm. Now it's a higher spawn rate. Thus, where people before were seeing 1-3 spawns a day, people now are seeing 3-5. Granted, the higher numbers are on servers where the rares are being killed quickly.

Well Maffyx, that gives you more reason to make a Frostbitten achievement farm profile, doesn't it ;)?

I for one will be happy to buy it the moment you release it!

Haha believe it or not I had one started a while ago, but dropped it due to other profiles, need to dig it up! However in the mean time I think there is actually one out there already. May want to do a search for it.

It will attack stormpeak wyrms if they're close enough, this is really bad for rogues. Mine just headlessly jumps off the cliff chasing them, sure he kills them, but usually dies from the fall. This would be the same for some other classes as well ^^

Is this for the Brunnhildar village profile? I'll take a look at it and see why it may be doing that, it shouldn't even be targeting anything other than TLPD and Vyragosa.

Edit: This is a guess, but do you have "Kill between hotspots" turned on in your HB settings? That may be why. If not, I'm not exactly sure.

Yes I did. I'll try disabling it and see if that helps. It probably does, your support is spot on as always. thanks!

EDIT: A blue faggot just flew by, it didn't attack it at all. So fixed. Thanks!

No problem, glad I can be helpful.

Haha nice, glad that fixed it. I'll make a note in the next release to turn that off on start up.

Sounds good! A suggestion, you should have 2-3 different spots your character can stand in, when waiting for dragon spawns. Most characters have a 30yard range anyway, (warriors by charge, rogues by cloak and dagger/shadowstep etc) mostly a problem for stealthed people, standing right on top of the spawn means a lot of horde land on you, and notice you, and kill you/blast you off the edges.. Would be nice having a more discreet hotspot or something.

Cheers

In my future versions it will send you near the spawn area and pick from a selection of roughly 5 hotspots and go to it. This will help randomize it for everyone who is using the profile so not everyone is staying in the same spot. All the spawn points don't really offer much in giving distance, and more distance means it will take longer to tag the mob. As far as melee classes go, they'll have a harder time getting this since it is a flying mob and all.

Update; Been there 200 hours. Haven't gotten a kill yet, not even Vyragosa. I've switched between Brunhildar village and bors Breath. Since those 2 are most friendly towards melee.

Fourth Vyragosa spawn. Killed.

Stats:

Vyra spawns: 4
Vyra kill/loots: 3
TLPD spawns: 0
TLPD kill/loots: 0

This one happened while I'm monitoring. Watching some TV shows and have 2 campers open on my PC screen. Weirdest thing is, my toon killed it, but he isn't looting it... And he's within loot range too, so what this is a big bug!!

Another kill, manual. Switched camping on other servers and got another vyra kill. Bot didn't attack, is there something wrong since last HB update ?

Stats:

Vyra spawns: 5
Vyra kill/loots: 4

I just experienced this too. Watched the bot not attack or target or attempt to kill Vyragosa. Another player killed it infront of me.
