We are taking legal actions against each competitor or cracker who does not follow the law. The cracker guy has already been localized in US and lawyers have targeted him.

I do not see any reason to protect any part of that forum. The only protection we do is on our software - and we will optimize that very soon. With the next patch there will be no more of this issue hopefully.

For the crack itself - it is not connected to our warden check systems and its not cracked the way that he has the source code - its a sort of disabling the auth. But by dissabling the auth you disable the connection to the warden monitoring.

principle. plain and simple, i like the rest of us have paid for this service and alot of us feel cheated that people who havent can use it just as easily... and what, you catch 2 or 3 crackers, sue them... 5 more pop up, people are always going to crack software it's inevitable... what has to be done is at our end to prevent it being crackable... ie not giving them easy access to the tools required to use the cracked software

I wasn't going to enter this argument, but i'll add my brief two cents.

The reason I dislike the opensource environment is because I feel that players with cracked versions of a bot are more likely to bot carelessly and ignorantly.

When these players continually bot poorly using a profile or God forbid a QuestOrder someone has spent hours putting together, it has the potential to be flagged and become more dangerous for other (paying) users to use.

Essentially, we work hard on a profile that 1,000+ Chinese gold farmers could be using cracked versions on and cause the profile to be no longer safe for the community.

Still don't agree.... Inconvenience people you say? Its an inconvenience for trial users if they cannot download GB profiles or lvl 20+ level profiles? Im confused here. It seems the only people that DONT want this are you head honchos. Appears that what the paying community around here wants and says doesnt matter. Only what the big guys want.

Pls mods close this thread this is becomming a joke, most of the people in here complaining have never contributed to this community, and c'mon people you really think that locking the site is going to make a difference? people alway's download other people's work and upload it on different website's stating it's there work to get there rep up eg.. Mmowned, but aslong as i get the odd thx from someone on this site im happy.

Ye im not happy with people using a cracked version (Imagine how much money Bossland is losing) and they can easily get there hands on my profile's i created but i aint going to cry about it, the next major cata patch is just around the corner and every profile released will become un-usable and with the auth server's getting fixed HB2 will take some time to crack, also since were the only public bot on the net with this advanced navigation system the profile's would be useless to other bot's (ye i know there is a public bot out there with are old nav system but they will still require mesh files to use are profile's and are tag's).

I just hate the fact that obviously a giant majority of the community wants this, but a few staff members dont so yall win. I rly dont care tho. Ive just decided to not release profiles or update my current ones here anymore. No point if I am just supporting the cracking community.

The solution to this is just to host the profiles on another site, private profiles where only a select few gets access (panyama you could do this and only invite the ones that you know have paid) and not post ANYTHING here on this forum anymore. It sucks of it has to go to this, but if nothing official is done and no one are willing to discuss a solution to the problem then it might be the way to go.

I totally agree.

Thats one of the reasons behind the fact that I only share my profiles thru privs.
