Development Priorities

Mastahg, I've got a a few suggestions about Fatebot. Is there any way we can have it choose the closest one? It's really annoying to have the bot run right through one or even two FATEs to get to the one it's selected. Also maybe an option for do not join if X amount of time is remaining in FATE? I'd also like to see the bot search for the closest Teleport location before just running there. With zones like Eastern La Nosecea and Southern Than that have multiple crystals, it doesn't make sense to run clear across the zone for a fate. Also with Eastern LaN in particular, you can't access half the zone because it won't teleport to the other crystal.

and DOOOOD. DID YOU JUST MEH hunts? Really!?!?!

If you got that out and working ill insta donate a benji! You do realize that hunts means upgraded weathered gear yes? Ill do dirty dirty things for hunts more than or atleast equally to such willing due to frontlines.

But i digress.

You know where i stand/have my vote!

There's a lot of posts about this already. Hunts would be extremely difficult to implement within a bot.

The funny part is that the posts before were already directed AT him. Selective reading or selective amnesia? YOU DECIDE!

I see. Well i am fairly new w/ this particular bot so had i ran across said post(s) i wouldnt have made this one. With that said, i know of another bot that already does it. I guess that doesnt make it any "easier" to implement but it is possible.

Either way, it sucks if it isnt planned. Largely beneficial and im largely burned out on ffxiv. Playing ffxiv, wow, and wildstar simultaneously is a chore in itself. Trying to grind mobs all day for oils is just ... well you know.

Anyhow, frontlines will be sweet itself :P

In news for features that actually matter:
Daily questing is nearing a releasable state. Going to do a few more days and create a basic profile.

I'm sorry but this response just really bothers me. When you say "news for features that actually matter"......can you explain WHO this feature matters to? It seems like the community has been requesting some features for QUITE awhile now that you have just completely ignored. You gave your list of Development Priorities.....but I don't think those are the features that the community is really looking for. They're definitely not what is helping sell this bot.

Kupo Cleanup was a complete waste of time. No one uses Kupo because the fact that most classes use all of 3 abilities is just crap.
OrderBot enhancements have been really nice. No one can complain about that....but what about repairing? I joined this forum and bought this bot 8 months ago and Auto-Repair has been asked for since the very start. Yes, we have a single plugin that works for a single zone. And we just got that plugin today. After 8 months!!! I've talked with Kaga and it didn't really take him that long to build RePear...and that's from someone who had ZERO knowledge of treesharp when he started. I find it extremely hard to believe that it would take you very long at all to build out an Auto-Repair function in RB itself. It just comes down to the fact that it's something you don't care about.

It really feels like the only "Features" that get added to this bots are stuff that YOU want. I can't remember seeing a single post of someone putting in a request for Daily Quests....so why is that the top of your priority list?

I understand that this is still pretty much a 1-man show and you do have a limited amount of time that you can work on things...I just wish you would work on the things the community is asking for.

When I paid my money for the bot, I paid for what was on it at the time, anything added later is a bonus to me. A huge reason I purchased this bot was because I wasn't getting gouged a monthly fee to use it, if that means buying as is with updates to only the memory addresses, I'd be fine with that.

Maybe my expectations are low, but that's all I expect for 20 dollars. I asked for support for higher-tier mooching (albeit that's probably pretty easy to implement on an established system as opposed to writing a new one from scratch) and it was added within days. So it's not like he is not listening or adding things which he isn't expressly using, and I feel like you're speaking for yourself and possibly a couple other people and labeling them as the community when that really isn't the case.

I don't know if anyone else would care for this, but if possible at some point could a varying delay (something like between 1-3 secs) option be a checkbox option to be forced after a catch w/fishbot? To more astute players insta-reeling and casting for long periods of time can be a hint that you're botting. Especially over long sessions spanning weeks/months at the same fishing spots w/the same fishers.

Added for next version, will wait 1-3 seconds before catching.
 
Hi mast, could I put in a vote for materia convertion and equipment change development? :D
 
Hate to be so naggy / pushy but any development on frontlines?
Would be a great way to farm PvP marks and Allagan Tomes...
 
Have not even touched them yet. Theres a bunch of low hanging fruit that needs to be grabbed before i go on a rampage modifying the mesh system to support jump points to make the bot look humanlike in frontlines.

One feature I'd like to see is a feature that monitors if there is no action that is done successfully by the bot after a few moments it blacklists that node for 5 minutes and goes to the next node. Sometimes a node works at one angle, but not another.

Does this happen with orderbot or old gathering?
