Blizzard vs Bossland 4th December 2012 LG Hamburg

But it was not yet over, also one of the main aspects of the game is the communication between players, and since bots can not communicate, they are obstructing blizzard. However Blizzard never mentioned anything like that in his lawsuit, so i am really interested how he came up with that fact, and why bots can not be communicating ...i have seen at least few plugins that let you communicate with players.

In my Opinion, the Bot gives me more time to interact with other players, because i can use the whole time for chatting.... idk how this can be an argument against bots....

Because when you are forbidden to distribute a product in Germany, then updates to that product also count as distribution, which means that the HB updates page will have an Geolocation check after 29th January. And payments from Germany will be not possible at all.

Since alot of people get confused,
Just make one clear statement, what Germans can do after the 29. January, and what not.

What happens if I buy the bot in England and give it to a friend in Germany? Afterall, you wouldn't of sold it to them :)

It reallyis quite strange the levels people will go to in order to stop others having fun. And the lack of communication bit made me laugh! After coming back to the game after a few years, my Guild was disbanded and literally 2-3 of my friends even come online any more. I honestly havn't spoken to anyone in game the past few months.

Der bot wird ab ende j?nner nicht mehr in deutschland suportet.
Wie ist es dann bei uns ?sterreichern? Bekommen wir die updates noch oder gilt das f?r den deutschsprachigen raum?
Wie k?nnen wir ?sterreicher die updates dann beziehen?

also so wie ich es verstanden habe, ist der Bot zwar ab 29.1 Aktiv f?r uns Germans, aber wir bekommen keine Updates mehr!
Also m?ssen wir uns die Updates aus dem Ausland holen. Wird ja wohl nicht so schwer sein, Webspace aus den Staaten zubekommen um dort die Daten zu lagern.
ODER sehe ich das alles verkehrt?, dann kl?rt mich auf.

Deutsche Rechtsprechung gilt ja wohl nicht f?r ?sterreich, ergo habt ihr gl?ck.

a misconception people tend not to think about. even though you have a lifetime licence, its only good for the LIFE of the Bot. it's not his fault the court is or might make him quit selling in January. i doubt you would get a refund

Wird der Bot f?r uns geupdatet? Also f?r Deutschsprachige Mitglieder die nicht in DEUTSCHLAND leben und daher auch dem DEUTSCHEN Gericht nicht unterstellt sind!?
 
Hm. Was ist wenn ein HB User aus ?sterreich den Deutschen die neuen Honorbuddys zur verf?gung stellt :)?

Germans can use but not buy the bot or get updates from Bossland GmbH after the 29th.

Now, does that stop them from getting updates from friends outside of germany? No, as the use/possession of the bot won't be illegal, only the distribution/sale of it by Bossland GmbH. At least as it stands that's how it is unless i missed something. I didn't see anything that would imply you could not log into the HB servers after this time.
 
Don't you see the obvious solution to this? Stop selling the damn bot. Make it a free, cut down version that only plays for an hour or so. Then you could add a "donation" of a fixed amount to unlock the full features of the bot. Isn't this the new HB way anyway?

nope its only for germany not the rest of the world.

He was trying to be facetious, regarding the donations thing going on.

If Blizzard manages to close all of honorbuddy to the world. Can we still get updates or is that we can't buy it.

So in order to shut down this bot everywhere, they need to go country by country ?
 
Also ersten w?re es sch?n wenn mal vollst?ndig aufgekl?rt wird was noch geht und was nicht! Da sind eine Menge Fragen offen.
Zweitens hattet Ihr da wohl einen Internet-Ausdrucker als Richter, sowas verdrehtes und schon fast vors?tzlich (zumindest fahrl?ssig unwissendes) falsches habe ich ja noch nie geh?rt - wie kommt man denn auf so einen gequirlten Unsinn?
Alleine das W?rfel Argument ist wider jeder Logik - HB ist nicht der W?rfel oder das Programm das den W?rfel auf 6 dreht sondern die Hand welche den W?rfel schmeisst - was dann gew?rfelt w?rde, steht auf einem ganz anderen Blatt und liegt allein in Blizzards ermessen.

Lauter ungereimtheiten - schonmal bei Bild, RTL usw. versucht zu erfragen ob sie so eine farce nicht mal beobachten wollen? Bots sind ein zweischneidiges Schwert, aber ich denke es gibt ebensoviele Bef?rworter wie Gegner. Aber alleine die Tatsache dass eine US Firma hier deutsche Gerichte m?glicherweise beeinflusst oder in die Irre f?hrt d?rfte schon anlass genug sein, egal um was es geht. Zumindest lassen die Aussagen das erahnen.

So ein Schwachsinn!

Einfach mal ein klares Statement raushauen.
Die halbe Community weiss nicht was sache ist, und es gibt immer noch kein klares statement.
Sagt uns einfach was wir noch machen k?nnen, und was nicht. Es w?re so einfach kurz zwei zeilen zu tippen mit:
Ihr k?nnt: XXX
Ihr k?nnt ab 29. Janaur Nichtmehr: XX

Und die ganze sache ist erledigt.
