Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. filed an interim injunction to stop sales of DB [Update]

Is there a reason why you chose Germany over other countries for the business, or is this just were the founders happened to be located?

I hope ya'll win that case. Or just move to another country...

What is the point in shutting down bot which GIVES THEM money.
Let's be serious here, HB is shit, IB not buyable, once DB will go down there will be autoit left. Of course, there will be new bots but .... when? :)
People won't farm manually, maybe some of 'em - yep but I cannot imagine people with 2+ accounts farming, or even 1+ if you are not chinese/korean (:D). This is just another example of Bli$$ard beign retarded. They can control price of gold via banwaves but why would they shut down their gold machine.. Now, with DB getting better and Inferno getting nerfed we would be able to farm items for RMAH - another source of their income.

I just don't get 'em.
I hope that Vivendi will sell them and ActiBlizz will split.

P.S. WIll you guys extend promotion after crushing Blizz in the court?

Other bots get banwaves, buddy bots get lawsuits. I guess they gave up trying to detect buddy products lol.

I'm not experienced with warden, but I've seen some of the paychecks lawyers get from large companies. I'm shocked that litigation is the easiest/cheapest/most efficient option here. Really makes me wonder WTF the Buddy team is doing to piss them off this much. Either they can't figure out how to detect it, or Bossland had sexual relations with a few of their moms.

I bought the bot not even 35 hours ago and this happens? I am politely asking for a refund and will be happy to be a return customer once the dust settles , in the mean time I was trying to supplement some income by botting but this just defeats my whole plan. Much appreciated.
 
I may not have been here for so long only since Honorbuddy came out but i still stand by and say that this is a great comunity and the DB comunity i bet will be great 2....hope u win the cause

The defendants are forbidden:

In the Federal Republic of Germany, acting personally or though any foreign company to offer software and / or distribute or support software which allows customers of teh applicant (EA/Blizzard) to automate moves in the game "Diablo III".

The defendants are warned that for each case of infringement of the above order, a fine of up to 250,000 EUR or imprisonment up to six months.

I just wanna say this - for whatever it's worth. My 2nd account that I bot on is not even 2 weeks old. I've used DB for less than a week. Last night, I made the decision to stop playing this retarded broken game (stop playing, not necessarily stop botting).

I'm not gonna ask for a refund from the Buddy Team.

Others may feel differently, and that's fine. I've been around awhile, and I can honestly say that this is the best bot dev team there is. The community is amazing, the support is always helpful and considerate. And these guys don't stop working. I knew when I paid for DB tere was a good chance that the piece of garbage called IB had already managed to get me flagged (IB is ok; I hate their dev team and community, though - fuck those guys) and that I could be banned at any time. But I knew that the Buddy Team wasn't gonna puss out and bail on their customers; that they've shown real balls in fighting Blizzard in court.

So if I get banned and they get my money - w/e. At least it went to guys I respect. Good luck, guys. I'll be here when you come back online. And if I'm not banned, I'm gonna bot til I am.
 
i understand that blizzard likes to control everything but as legality is concerned a bot program is only illegal in blizard games if it is used. i really fail to see how they can infringe on bosslands right to make a program available to people as they are not making anyone use it. only if they were to get caught using it do i see a problem. just my 2 cents

i for one wish i would've have already got this bot, and will justas soon as it is available again

Watch Blizz do the same thing as Jagex, ban all their botters and then realize "Oh shit, there goes 2/3 of the population!"

User wise No bot program is "illegal". You cannot get arrested at least in most country's for using a bot program. (Korea is the exception). That law has zero chance of ever going to the US our prisons are already over crowded without putting non violent bot users in jail also. Developer wise you open yourself up to lawsuits win or lose in the end there's a reason they're based in Germany in the US blizzard would bankrupt them before the 1st court hearing.
