[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

Hey Millz Great job on this bot base works a charm with my lock and your cr. One question though is there a way to stop my holy priest targeting enemy players and running around after them? im using richies holy priest cr pro version in the movement section of bgfarmer i`m selecting healer also.

It shouldn't really matter if you target an enemy, the CR should automatically start healing friendly units ?
 
the bot just wait at mage tower and not help the other players capping other towers. i was playing as a healer and the bot wasnt assisting the other players. it just stands at mage tower alone. The bot is not a team player..it just ignored allies under attack. and itlikes to charge into a grp of hordes.

It won't leave any base undefended, regardless of class.

Charging into group of enemies - I'll need a log file for that.

First, let me say that your BGFarmer is a quantum leap compared to BGbuddy, and I thank you for that, seriously. There are still a few things that I'd like to suggest, and hopefully see implemented.

1. On my server there are quite a few "dead times" between ques popping. One thing I would suggest is that you generate a table of NPCs that the bot would run/fly to in the city/zone randomly and spends 1-3 minutes at each. There are quite a few NPCs in capital cities that could keep the little guy busy while you wait. You could make it run to the bank... etc. That for me would give me a little relief between rounds.

2. Set ranks on POI's. For example, in Isle of Conquest (Island of Alliance Faggotry) you should be able to appoint which POI the bot should go to first, second, and so on. This would mean (since we all know that a much larger % of wow players bot than blizz wants to let on) that these battle grounds would become more popular again due to priority being given to POI vs using HB's built in hot spot.

3. Healers need to peel if the FC runs past them toward the cap point, or at least check to see if the FC has a healer within X amount of yards.

4. Random starting locations within each BG - chosen at random within a 10 yard, 20 yard, or 30 yard intervals, depending upon what BG was loaded.

5. This may just be me - but I cannot get this to work in mixed mode. Since my BG ques are so long I'd like to run GB2, but it just sits there. Anyone else having this issue?

Now, im not sure how you would translate all that into code, but that would potentially change the game completely using your program.

Let me know if I can be of any use. I'd love to see this evolve even further.

Hey, I've noticed a couple of problems with the bot.
First, in SotA when the match started, the bot kept running into one of the gates while mounting and dismounting.
Second, It goes to the exact same spot as other people using the bot. It went to the yellow gate and stood in the exact same spot as another person while facing in the exact same direction.

Perhaps we can get an option to use [Fire-Watcher's Oath] for bloody coin farming in bgs ?

That's more for a plugin rather than the bot base to handle.

Are you using BGFarmer's movement or the routine? The routine may handle that better for a healer.

Hey - Thanks for the feedback and thought out post.

1) You're best off standing near the PvP vendors or somewhere completely hidden (upstairs in a building somewhere random). Standing still isn't really a give-away.

2) Yeah I'm planning on setting a priority order for IoC for which to attack.

3) Not really sure what you mean by this one?

4) It does pick random starting locations. For most BGs it has multiple points, and then randomizes those points by X yards for where to stand.

5) Can you post a log for this please so I can see what's going on?

Hey - Can you post a log please for the gate issue? Randomization is broken on the gate locations. Will fix it.
 
Hey Millz I`m also having issues with strand of the ancients my character regardless of class or faction when attacking as the boats come in the character runs to the bottom of the boat and gets stuck down there. ive just blacklisted it for now :D

Hmm might have found what's causing this. Will test it out before the next build.

im sure this product works flawless with your CRs.
anyone having experience with other CRs like YRB, leaves or Stars? and if yes some settings I have to make sure of?

It should work with everything - including CRs that don't support AFK bot bases (like GladiatorSuite, Vitalic's, YRB). You'd need to enable BGFarmer to control the movement and facing for that.

Wouldn't recommend YRB for pvping though, it's got no PvP support at all.

Purchased this awesome bot this morning, Only small bug I've seen so far.

At the start of AV, horde side. Sometimes the bot will try and walk to a waypoint thats slightly outside the gate that causes it to have seizures til the BG starts.

Is there anyway I can provide more information that's helpful? Nothing in the log was reporting that was relevant.

The idea is that it'll keep up with your 'leader' whenever it can see that toon. If it can't see the leader character then it'll just run it's normal BG logic until it finds the leader again (then it'll move back to where it is).

For instance...

Toon A (leader) is at farm. Toon B (healer/slave) is at stables, just died.

Toon B can't see Toon A because it's too far away. It then picks a base to move to using the standard logic. It moves to Lumber Mill. While moving to LM, it picks up Toon A again (closer - can see it again) - it then resumes following the leader.

Hey Millz, I've just this morning purchased your BotBase and with regards to movement I really like it so far. There are a few things I've noticed though and maybe this is not related to the botbase but I'll mention it anyway.

1. I've completed a few SoTA runs so far and often it's the case where my toon prioritizes enemy players over objectives like destroying the demolishers. It also happened a few times that my toon would run down to where the boat docks when defending, then just before the enemy players got off the boat my toon would run back up to the first gate. Overall I think it would be good to have behavior to prioritize tactics over actual combat and only enter combat when necessary e.g. I'm on my way to the gate with a bomb and I get snared so my chances of getting to the gate and setting off the bomb as slim, as a result then dismount and start attacking.

2. I have noticed that even though healer priority is turned on, healers are not priority targets.

3. When my toon is attacking a target and that target gets to low health, and another enemy comes along and attacks me, my toon will target the new enemy that just attacked me regardless of if my previous target was at 5% health (this has happened a few times)

Let me know what your thoughts on these points are :)

Does this functionality work outside of bgs? I haven't been able to test it because I haven't had any time to play today. I'm asking because I want to use your botbase for a pocket healer in world pvp and a few other things.

Millz I'm loving the Bot Base so far, and any of the bugs I noticed seem to of been posted already and are being fixed.

Do you plan to add more BG Specific options like you do for WSG and AV? Specifically on my rogue my combat routine will use stealth often if not all the time and on Temple of Kotmogu he will run up grab orb, and then drop it immediately from stealthing. So I think it would be great to turn on or off picking up orbs, also does the BGFarmer focus people carrying orbs right now?
