Banwave 10-11-2016 Discussion

I got banned too on 2 accounts that I created 2,5 days ago (I was hit at the banwave before too)

What I did: quest level 100-110 on both and started to farm herbs (but I don't used GB2)
They were running without a break

Tripwire was disabled.
I used the lastest version of Honorbuddy.

It would be interesting if tripwire would saved my accounts or if I took breaks.

Hopefully this informations help other.
 
I didnt disabled tripwire i started botin 1-2 days after the bot is patched, so tripwire is usseles now and blizz can detect whenever they want. So buyin new acc-s is totaly usseles now...

@Heomn i used questing to level them, then the same bot base for the herbalism 1 day.
 
Got one banned (closed) today aswell. Account was created 3 days ago, did 100-110, some WQs, some farming. Wow and HB were both updated, took breaks now and then. Didnt do a single trade or gbank deposit whatsoever.
 
Gather/Mining is the new suicide botting, they will ban ur account/s 1-2 times per week (in miniwaves) , so u have 1 day to 5 days if you re lucky to cash in.

They just look what goldfarmers do and script around that
 
im still not banned on my new account. Went from 1 to 110 and stopped botting there. Playing everyday and nothing
 
I can tell you that the detection happened some time ago, probably mid-end of September. I stopped playing on my account then and still got a 6 month ban, I haven't used HB for over a year so the other bot was detected too.

Normally I'd be QQ about the loss of my main account for 6 months but I'm actually happy, there would have been a temptation around xmas holidays to jump back in and see the new Kara but now I won't so I can stay content playing for nothing on a private server.
 
seems this tripwire not work because created 3 accounts new and got ban again. last ban wave lose 10 accounts and run only quest 1-100 and profile bought from buddystore for 100-110

think not safe bot now...
 
2 new fresh installs - 1 banned within 36 hours botting only 6 hours/day supervised - its total suicide to bot now
 
going to war with blizz

Hey guys, thanks for this forum. Botting has rejuvenated my interest in WoW and in gaming in general, and I love engaging with blizz on this level. I had 4 accounts suspended last week. I purchased two more legion keys within a day of the ban and turned tripwire off on one account and waited for update on the other and quested 1-110, did a few WQ, and went to work gathering herbs and ore (heavy focus on starlight rose). Was able to bot up about 2 million more gold before waking up this morning and getting 2 bans on both the keys i just purchased. I will proceed to get these charged back. I am going to buy 2 more license keys and do it all over again just to see what happens. I really love using the relogger, if you haven't tried it yet you are missing out. Forgot to mention all gold and items from all suspension and bans are still in my guild bank and all botted gold still sitting safely on a non botted account that is used on back up botting computer (computer that has botted both hb and sbr recently but was not the main botting computer). This time I am going to step it up and use a vpn and other measures I can discover researching how to be "safer". Any ideas would be helpful. Peace 420

So far botting on a low pop server, (currently lvl 10 on a new b.net account) with battlechest, gonna see what happens when i hit 100, then possibly buy legion

What a shame to see the decline of what was once a very good bot. I'm not complaining, I've had an awesome time, made a fair bit of gold, lost a few accounts, still have my main account because as ther old addage goes; don't bot what you can't afford to lose.

For me, I'm absolutely done. Not a single penny more in the Buddystore or otherwise. I'm also not going to throw money down the drain by purchasing more wow accounts to bot on in the hope that the detection will get fixed. For me, the detection rate is obviously in the favour of Blizzard and they have won (at least for now) the botting game. it took them a long time, but by jove they have fucking well won the game haven't they!

It's been fun HB, thanks, but I'll handle things from here ;-)

Does anyone know when other banwaves events happened? I remember only may 2015, december 2015, februar (?) 2016, may 2016 and november 2016.
