Does anyone ever wonder why Hb staff never comments when bann waves hit they vanish like a fart in the wind? but if you post things they dont like they suddenly come back to shut you down i just thought it was funny. Also has anyone done any research to see what other bots got hit. I heard noob bot got it but soap didnt.
At this point it's pretty obvious that honorbuddy has run it's course. I have botted since 2007, and never lost an account up until last year. There was always a risk, and that's something we've all been aware of. But now running this bot is a guaranteed ban within 3-6 months. It was fun while it lasted, but this last year has proven that it's very much so over.

the wow population on each server is really low now lol this was one big banwave
I was banned in this wave. NO REGRETS. I will continue botting, helps levelling and farming rare mounts. Nothing else. Do I want them stop banning? Hell no. I hate gold sellers and all the people.doing this for profit. And the category botting pvp and pve? You are unskilled players... So quit WoW. Botting after you hit max lvl? Quit plz, because it makes no sense. you either show your skills in pvp or pve and be happy about it or you dont play... You know, it's like paying a dude to kiss and make love to your woman while you watch. i know there are people enjoying that, but are you one of them? I bot to 110 because i dont want to grind. I bot to get Aeonaxx and Tlpd because Blizz named it Time-Lost because we lose time trying to get it. Well, I won't. Gold sellers and ppl owning 10+ accounts. Fuck them, do it the hardcore way...

Would not it be possible to recode the bot? And use the tripwire system correctly? And the Bot possibly run in 64 bit mode?
Because I mean, how often HB was already from a Banwave at Blizzard and the Bot was always found for any reason (detected)
You should really sit down and think. Because if it goes on like this, the next Banwave will be guaranteed again in 5-6 months.
One should consider how one can spying the Blizzard. Has Blizzard been better lately? And the devs here make more mistakes? I dont know

I still have never been banned. I Uninstall HB before downloading any patch, wait 3 days and download again. You're welcome.
I'm fairly sure Blizzard could detect HB much more frequently if they cared enough to use the resources on a regular basis. It is simply more efficient for them to go several months apart and do it in mass. Saves them labor and resources and still get a lot of revenue from the botters paying subscriptions. I have 2 sets of accounts now that I rotate and just assume every 6-12 months the ones botting will get 6 month ban and I'll have to switch and lose some ground with progression temporarily. Mailing gold to "innocent" friends and clean accounts has never been caught that I know of. The millions of gold spread across multiple guild banks are also left untouched. I was mass banned with the wave last year and the current one and the mailing/guild banking was never penalized or detected.
This makes more sense from a financial stand point - mass bans use a lot less time/resources and you get millions in subs. After each wave many botters (like me) just buy more accounts and subs and keep going. Less resources wasted, more money made on more subs and full accounts purchased. And it shows some sign to the non-botting community QQ'ing constantly that Blizzard is doing something about it. Win/Win for them for good PR while still making lots of money on us.

Blizzard has 10000000% the resources and programming ability compared to HB. My conclusion is to accept that botting means my accounts are good for 6-12 months which I rotate with "clean" accounts so the resources and gold and everything in guild bank stays with me. Doesn't bother me much since I don't think any tiny company can keep safe from Blizzard for long if they are really targeting the bots. Doesn't take long to rotate the clean accounts in to catch up unless you're a high level progressive mythic raider - any other scenario infinite gold, backup max level toons with less gear, etc, are pretty easy to catch back up (with the next bot release

I'm assuming this is more luck than anything. It is not as simple as detecting HB client = guilty. They accumulate lists of accounts to ban over at least weeks if not more, and not based on is HB installed or not. My "clean" accounts on this exact same computer with HB running on multiple other accounts are not banned. They detected HB RUNNING your character inside the specific guilty account, and many people have confirmed their last bot login date was weeks before each ban wave.
Again, my clean accounts running side by side on the same computer, same IP, etc., are still intact - their detection method is not as simple as you are claiming.

6 month ban
I got 6 months too. Just used levelling on alt as dont get time really. Think thats me finished with this game. In 7 months it is like starting so far behind again. Not cheated before at all and played since bc. Typical.

Is it really like that? Then I could nevertheless after every bot try the Bot uninstall. And if I want to use it again, install and then uninstall again. Is this then 100% safe?
if there was I dont think it would be widespread knowledge unfortunately
I have a friend whose brother was a GM once but he never talked about it ever. I wish I knew some of those guys from anonymous perhaps they could help with the unbanning or doing something else.....- Status
