It is quite ridiculous that now Routine-only users try to blame HB been focused by blizzard on the Gold farmers.

Routine users AS GUILTY as gold farmers , if not more, for this.

Gathering bots and questing bots have existed for long time, and people learned to accept them. They were reported, but no big deal was made about it .Talking Cata and pre-cata times.

Then the fucking routines came up, for people who are stupidly dumb and inept to learn a rotation. For the absolute crap of players, the sort that in the past would never raid or pvp. And the non-botting population started noticing about bots.

You messed with them. The bot (NOT YOU) killed them or beat them on the meters. They started whining because of you. You were so damn horrible at the game, that you couldn't even perform adequately against other players or against a giant AI. So freaking sad.

And you dare to try to put the blame on anyone else?

Personally would love the bot to be divided between Routines and repetitive tasks. but, only to get rid of the fucking routine casuals, who never belonged here anyway.

I agree with the routine. Just for disabled people for me, they can serve.
But i disagree with the real money income. For me they are a good reason to ban everyone, but this is my idea, and i respect yours but i'm in disaccord with it.
Everyone is guilty when we use 3rd part program, but...i think there are several types of guiltyness.

For me, blizzard gains a lot with money sellers. That's why they do banwaves. But a payed farmer or a robot farmer for me are the same thing. But they never take actions agains humans treated like robots in some country cause they don't gain anything out of it.

Why blizzard would ban like 10.000 players non gold sellers?
Why blizzard would ban like 90.000 sellers + 10.000 non sellers?
If 90.000 buy another acc, there will be 90.000 X 30 dollars + tokens,subs, etc... and they will probably buy it.
The 10.000 ones will probably buy another acc? I don't know...but if blizzard will lose their subs,token or whatever, the will lose only 10.000 x 13 per month, or whatever tokens,etc.

The numbers may be different, maybe 60.000 sellers and 40.000 personal users? I don't know but i think that the majority are gold sellers,no?

I like to confront ideas with you all. But please, keep the conversation civil. Use moderate tones even if we have a very different ideas.

actually i am a routine only use some times, but i love the questing bot. in my opinion its people like me that are more to blame. Routine only. Its when we started showing up in arena, and rbgs rated that they really got a fire under there butts

I agree with the routine. Just for disabled people for me, they can serve.

For the routines i am totally in agree with you. A routine user that bench a normal player is guilty as the hardcore gold seller. But for me the casual botter that farms for him is less guilty than the other two. But it's absolutely guilty, no matter what

Actually, before routines showed up, when the bot was limited to Questing / gathering / non-intrusive tasks, there was a sense of community here. People made profiles free of charge. REALLY; WE DID. I know it's hard to believe with the current iteration of the BuddyStore.

Unfortunately, while I think that there are levels of guiltiness in here, i do not share your "casual botter" perspective. Think about it this way: if someone devotes his time, knowledge and will to gold selling, which is a full time job, he is trying to find a way of living for him. When the casual botter farms for him, he is not doing so for a living; just to get an unfair advantage over the rest of the players, be it in real time spent, resource making, materials, whatever.

Who is the one to blame? A person trying to make a living out of the game, or the one who is trying to "get his part of the cake" unfairly?

I'd like to point that, even though I can understand them and try to get in their skin, I am in no way a big gold seller.

It is too easy to go all Trump out and try to point at someone else of our own-created problems. Even if that get a lot of support and fanatism around.

If they ban like every 6 months, we may just need to not bot after the 5th month, when approximately the scan begins. Some ppl that didn't bot after 7th november weren't banned. I don't know if the software is detected or not, but honestly, even if it's not detected, if you do the same route for like 1 month, same nodes, and put everything on AH, without changing anything, there's no need for an injection to ban you...even a normal player taking screenshots could ban you.

For what i tried to acnowledge it's a mixture of scanning and reports, imho.

Cause there are two type of botters: who bots for gold selling, and who bots for their personal use: the impact in the game of these categories is totally different. If there'll be only the "personal" category, i think that banwaves and generally "hate" agains botters would be very very tiny. I'm no one to judge the gold sellers, and they have all the rights to do what they want, but if i farm 3000 starlight roses and put them on the AH undercutting everything i have an impact on the economy, if i farm 1500 roses, then i'll use 750 for my potions, then sell some potions and some i'll use for the guild, i would have a totally different impact.

People who make real money with bots may be in disagree with me, and they'll be right. Of course i'm trying to defend my interests against other's interests.

Maybe we should change the way bot interacts with the game? I know some people can tell me: but in vanilla i botted like 24/7 without problem. Ok. But in vanilla u had only to do the epic mount and some other shit. Now, content is very very very very grindy and waaaaaay more complex.
Maybe we should make some restrictions like, can't make the bot run 24/7 all day? But maybe at some intervals...like, max 12 hours per day i don't know.
The "concept" of the Bot is actually making money or help to play the game? For example, some unfortunate and disable people that can't use hands. More fortunate people that maybe have a very very tiny of time to play but don't want to fall back. And we can take out infinite cases...

I hope no one gets mad for what i said, but it's just what i think.

Right now you get a ban within 12 hours as has been noticed if you disable tripwire and bot now. So at this point it would not work and you cannot make any profits whatsoever using HB. Some even got a ban in 2 hours recently.

guys the ban waves are not every 6 months , they are at least every 6 weeks from what ive experienced , got 2 toons to around 872 in legion just as I'm getting around lvl 28 on artefact a ban hits and starts all over again , coincidence ?
