Banned today after instaling new version and run if for 30 minutes.

Really don't see how people keep getting banned...

Before the 1.0 release broke the bot I was running it 10-12 hours a day on my main account and its still running strong and my IP isn't banned. Hell I've even been using CE maphack and nothing has happened.

Did you notice no scrolls or currencies dropping?

I was doing the same, On 2 different accounts, neither was banned, IP is fine. Also to the question of drops. I had MORE stuff drop while i had this running then if i ran it my self. I know its all RNG, but i had no problem of Items/Currency dropping.

I had EB running, with CE Maphack/Lighthack on.

P.s. The CE MH still seems to run fine.(hint hint boblmao) XD

I'm just glad that a BETA version is even running now that 1.0 hit.
 
One silly question: you guys, who get banned, are not using the same account name here in the forum, that you are using ingame?!?! Please, tell me if I'm right.. :D I am using the bot, since I bought it, without any issues.. Now am waiting for a stable release, to be sure, that the developers around here now what they are doin'. :)

was like 4 days and I sent them another e-mail asking what was taking so long and they got back to me almost instantly

I never got an email saying I was banned.
 
My account got banned first day trying the bot. Just installed the new BETA version yesterday and Farmed the first area after merveil for 30-60 minutes. Proceeded to make my way to city of sarn, ran the bot there for 30-60 minutes. Got to Docks and ran the bot for about 1-2 hours. IP Ban. Ran a marauder with Geofri's Baptism, Glacial Hammer - Melee Splash - Multistrike and unlinked Leap Slam. Got to level 37-39 before ban. Used the standard Exile combat routine.

Well, its a crazy idea but are you a supporter? Maybe they are not banning supporters?

I had this thought i supported two accounts but my main botting account is not supported so dont think so level 73 and counting. fully level with bot and not a problem since loving et!

Me and two friends got banned almost at the same time this morning!!
I don't count anymore the account I got banned lol xD
 
things to do when your banned so you dont get rebanned quickly....

1. change your IP
2. change your mac address
3. play abit manually before lvl 30 as at low levels GGG is the most proactive with the banning
4. add a friend (even another of your own account)
5. join/create a guild
 
If my char cant pickup items (bot or manually clicked) = account flagged and burned?

Yep, good points over there. I just joined the community and trying out the bot...

In general, any automated action can get detected. They can look for patterns + suspicious actions and investigate further into your players logs.

I am not a Botting expert but I can imagine that the only way to fight this is to actually ACT like a human. The bot needs way more more improvements of course.

But we.. as users have to act like normal players.

One other idea that can be added to your suggestions.. is to make an AutoHotKey macro for instance, which will be sending a trade message on chat by random intervals.

So.. lets say every Random(2-5) minutes.. let it spam one specific trading message... like "WTB Exalted Orb for 15Chaos" - No one is gonna pm you for that anyways :3.
