Banned today after instaling new version and run if for 30 minutes.

bot is short for robot.. robots are used to automate things.. in this situation boting is to click and attack and pot for you not to prevent for being detected for stupidity. doesnt mean you can afk when you like. just means you dont waste your energy clicking and pounding a keyboard.. i bot everything i can so i would know all to well what it can and cant do.. even the owner of this site monitors his 60+ computers hes got on wow or demon and now exile..

as for bans the ban wave was a product of <URL removed - Apoc> they had a chicken code that was being flagged and if you logged in and out at all in the time of this monitoring it was flagging your account even if you never bot for 10+ hours my buddy sent a email they review a few features and give you your account back.

Ive been running practically continuously for a week or so too and /touchwood no bans yet. Are you guys that got banned running a *************. or Virt. priv. network or something like that?

I'm running one via a personal remote socks5 connected to my own virtualprivatenetwork on the other side of the world.

mainly to leave minimal consense to my main account.

(gives +50 ping, other than that - no issues whatsover. botting 10h / day)
 
10 days of practically 24/7 farming time, and finaly i got IP banned^
Wrote to support team, hope they will unban me
 
i also just lost a 100% supervised account that didn't farm any area more than ~10 times.
quested partially by hand, partially by bot. No stucks. No relogs, No chicken.

No 3rd party hacks or anything.

Running via a Socks5 though - through a "clean" (never used before bot connect to poe) virtualprivatenetwork.

time was around 12h today. IP Banned + Account banned by admin.

there was nothing obvious going on. Just did my 3rd dock run, took wp after a death, BOOM disconnect + banned :|





edit: another acc running via another socks5 runs without any problems - for a week @ 10h / day. those socks5 are all private and only used by me, and noone else.
 
sorry to hear abt that guys....my bots running exile buddy also got banned...

botting docks as well... 18hr/day for last week...
afterwords levelled a new toon only to get banned again after i hit 30++
 
i am also banned today, i made new account started botting when i hit level 15. I just let it on for a few hours and went to sleep and this morning i was banned + IP bann.
 
If the software is undetected do you think they are seeding with invisible loot / mobs or something?
 
Hi, made account today because i never had any problems/feedback to post.
This morning i woke up to see my poe at login screen, i tried logging in and error came up (ip banned).
Before that i botted since the release of exilebuddy. Difference between botting last couple weeks and this night was that i boosted the account to merciless ledge. Before that i used to bot for 12h+ each session every day. I don't know why but i have a feeling they monitor merciless++ characters with higher priority or something. In total, i lost my main account aswell lvl80+ in HC league. And i had 6L chest/uber high ele bow on my LA ranger that i was using for botting on seperate account.
I don't use any ***/*****
I used bot on my home computer
When i played legit, i used to nolife every day (16h+ every day in summer)
I wrote email to support and they responded:

of course unban your account immediately.
 
We will email you with our findings as soon as possible.

I really hope i get unbanned, since i had alot of micros done towards my main account (30+ stash tabs). Atleast IP unban, since with release there will be new leagues i want to take part in.

Sorry for your lose.

Common practice is to never bot with your main, which you didn't, and always expect to be banned at any time. For EB common practice will need to include using alternative IP address to that which your main uses.

I am trying to get a big range of IPv6 ips but even a small range would be enough as it is more than likely the IPv6 will go through a IPv6/IPv4 NAT buy the time it reaches the PoE servers. If they ban that IPv4.. it will cause *alot* of headaches.

I don't think they do anything extra for merc++, I started up a new account and decided to bot it completely and just run through quest objectives (and side quests) just as a test, I was banned in about 7-8 hours of botting. Either the bot is detectable or the system they are using to detect bots is really effective.
 
Wow, thanks for this thread guys. I was going to buy this bot, but now I will think twice. So many bans... :(
 
ExVault, up to you. But the bot is in beta so this is to be expected. Also alot of us are not banned.
Just take some precautions and be prepared to be banned like all bots.

They should add a Break Feature and maybe make the Bot Click slower
I dont get banned but i just use it 2-3h/day cause it is to instable...
 
btw have a question to them, who got unbanned, how much time it took for the GGG team to invistigate ur account and give u unban? Coz w8ing 3 days already and still in process...

Was also looking for it in the last stable release but didn't find it. That is a MUST.
