Ban Theories and Ban Waves

haha what i say after eu get banned now bli$$ strikes us botter lol

It was inevitable, that's why one should bot 24/7. Blizzard is probably data mining our bot movement and feeding it into an Inference Machine/Neural Network to automate the bans.

interesting..haha yeah cant stop us legal so they need new coders to impro. warden lol

finally this one makes me calm, thanks Hawker, & to all staff making this bot running :D. <3

Hmm i was wondering, why on another forum, since 3 days everyone tried to sell theyre accounts with DH & GF Items, some guys tried to sell 10 Accounts with DH's fully equipped & the license for demonbuddy.

cause these accounts flagged and get banned soon..thats why some ppl. try to sell them

Is there a single US botter that has been running mulitiple accs 24/7 and did not got caught?cause in EU there were a lot of this kinda ppl, but in US it looks like they got all the botting accs.

Just throwing it out there........been doing Sark 24/7 and Core 24/7 no bans same computer. I am in US. My friend has been botting Sarkoth as I type this hes from US new jersey.

How long do u think they will be inspecting US accounts for? How long did they do it on EU for ?

How long do u think they will be inspecting US accounts for? How long did they do it on EU for ?

Nobody here know... Nobody works for Blizzz, and if one worked for them, i don t think he will tell us ;)

Well obviously yeh, thats why I asked how long did the EU one last roughly?

I say they track by coordinates. If you are clicking/moving on the same coordinates over 500x, you have some kind of automation. It's inhuman to move at exact positions over and over. For example, DH at sark vaulting at the same positions over and over, catch my drift?

I don't think its Sarkoth related, I had bots banned that never even touched sarkoth.

My hypothesis; flags are ticked after a certain amount of gold has been picked up. I am guessing it's internal gold tracking databases, my accounts with over 100mil gold picked up were banned, the ones under 100 mil weren't.

I'm going to start farming with a WD because let's face it, who would be silly enough to bot with one instead of a DH? :p

Well Gold trading just got released on US RMAH. I guess we know why Blizzard stepped it up. I just sold a bunch of gold on it too, exchange rate it higher than the black market at about $2.50 per mill (since its 25 per $100,000 is the min bliz will alllow)

I wonder how everyone is running multiple copies of D3. Are you guys copying the folder and adding -launch?

I wonder if there's an individually identifiable signature on an installation and running the CD to install for each D3 instance would be better, even on VM's?

Any idea of what countermeasures we can take to avoid getting caught?

This is why blizzard keeps on banning:
Day 1: 10000 botting accounts banned

Day 2: 20000 extra sales

Bli$$ard : OMFG BAN MOREEE

Day 3: Hires 20 new trigger happy monkeys .. let the bans begin!

And This is why Blizz. dont ban Gold auction..

10000 Botter
10000 gold auctions
10000 auction x 30%
= profit for blizz

if blizz. ban these gold auctions eller they receive 0 $$

so i dont think blizz. will ban ppl. for selling gold on rmah..

its just if your account looks like a bot, then they investigate and if its a bot u r banned. i doubt they are detecting db at all. otherwise we would all be banned.. like my main account looks legit as hell because most of hours on the account was actually me playing on the account (300hrs on demon hunter) before i started botting.. and i was able to avoid that little mess.. so im guessing they look for accounts that look like bots.. and they ban you after they do some investigation manually.. not automated
