Having not had to level by hand since 2011, I struggled the last 2 weeks, as I bought the the last acc space on my BNet account, fearing for my mounts achievements and stuff. And given the currently ongoing sale, I decided to test out for how long independant accounts botting 24/7 would last unbanned (levelling only). My friends charitably rented their bnet accounts, HB keys, etc. for this experiment. 10 was my limit, and thats how many I have running. All different IPs. All different ban history. All hunters/levelling/1-100 Kick/24/7. Monitoring with TeamViewer soft.

Doing this to get at least some look into how quicly I would get banned for levelling, as that is the most boring thing for me.
Thought some people might be interested with how it goes, just to give some insight to those endless "should i bot or not" posts.

I'll keep you posted.


So far , 2 hrs in, lvls 15, no bans, easy going... 17:13 , 30/11/2016


P.S. I know the data spread is nowhere near enough to be able to estimate even closely, but I tried to get as wide a spread on the conditions as possible.

you are using the same profiles, the same class, all botting the same schedule? what variables are you testing again?
 
You can write (yes i mean they want an actual letter) to blizzard and have banned accounts removed from your B.net, they dont have to stay there.
 
i wish anyone good luck with removing banned accounts. is there a different department for letters sent? because web support just tells you to fuck off.

Variables are account+ban history/ip+computer

only possible if the account is not current expansion.
 
that makes no sense. your first post says:

i guess this is valid if you expect different histories make a difference in the speed of which an account is banned.

but maybe you will find what you are looking for.

personally, id like to see a test of ten accounts testing 10 different profiles, or 10 different classes. 10 different specs? mebbe 10 different botbases? 10 different schedules?

someone needs to 'rent' you another 100 accounts

Too many variables. The purpose of my experiment ( the IP/computer is not a variable, more a precaution against target bans) is to try to determine whether it is target scanning or not.
 
you need way more variables then that to many different circumstances that go into them hitting us
 
im curious my self i mainly used the bot for farming mounts and lvlving 16 lvl 100, 5 lvl 110 char tons of shit and gold 249 mounts including miirion head most of tcg card. it wont let me view my char what will be removed from my account does anyone know. aeonaxx tlpd ect...any feed back would be great

From experience I lost all the gold on my toon, but not what was in the Gbank. Kept mounts and such. Only gold was affected.
 
Relax guys, next ban wave will be after 3 months, not earlier.
