Announcement regarding recent banwave

1 hour before i got banned my bot closed down by itself. But when i started it again it did not activate tripwire and then boom lol. But it was a bit sad due to i just tested the bot on it, haha. Anyways this was extremely unlucky and stupid of me to go my main account but money is to be spent on something :)
I now play with 1 button macro instead and it works fine so im probably gonna continue with that. My account that died in May is now active again so thats a relief. This new one will go active again in 6 months so i guess the expansion will come around that time :)
Also i can see that most people that are angry are the ones that probably botted on main acc and where raiding, now they must say the acc been banned and they will get laughed at lol.

Makes no difference, nobody got banned for doing obvious things or botting too much. We all got detected by software, you can't use the bot in a certain way to be 'safer' or 'protected' against that.

Still thank you for your bot - I enjoyed HB but it has come to an end already in may.

Btw: I got banned in may and did not bot anymore with HB and my account is untouched... HB is detected that is a fact for me...
Furthermore, your "open trusty communication" is for my none. Bossland did open a thread about SB and the leaked source and said he will answer questions. Well my question is still there if other products are at risk.

Epic, and honestly brilliant, marketing strategy.

If you really missed a configuration, and caused thousand of accounts being 18months stomped, you'd have done a lot more than a excuse post.
 
Thank you for the update buddy staff and ur honestly. I might have a theory on bans and I believe it might have something to do with battlegrounds and RBGs.I havnt been hit with a ban not once with honorbuddy on my account. I have in the past had throw away accounts ran 24/7 for days and got banned. I try to bot smart cause I use it on my main. I dont do garrison farming (Cause I believe is Pathing Bans), I dont pvp at all (I believe half the People use just the CR in battlegrounds and its detected), No Auto targeting, I dont use auto movement, I edit the interrupts timer to a reasonable if not manual control, I sit at my computer and do everything but my CR.

They're not forcing you to use their software go elsewhere.

I will still be around, Although I still dont understand why my main account was banned and I never botted on it :( I have been with you guys since 2010 and will stick around. I will note that from all the forums I believe a 64bit version should be implemented. And from an IT standpoint on a 64bit process and enough engineering HB could be made to jump cores with an included variable to change the process name... Only if the case was that bliz was reading our process.

Another thing I noticed and not 100% sure if its related but after the ban I started scimming through my wow install folder and noticed there were two scan.dll in the root of the wow directory. Not sure if any of this would be of any assistance. Until then, I will wait around and will be willing to test for you on a throw away account.

the only thing i use honorbuddy for is enyo nothing else what so ever , and still got banned nothing to do with what your doing it can be anything

Yes, the anti-botting department at Blizzard certainly wouldn't be able to scrape together enough for a license key....
 
failing making a 100% fail safe , is there anyway to help ourselfs by encypting our ram whilst in game play? so blizz cant read it or maybe they can read it but cant decifer it :)
 
This might not be popular, but can we accept that Blizzard can easily detect us, and disable arena botting please please please. As long as HB can be used in arenas then there's a target painted on us, as it spoils genuine players experience of the game more than anything else.

not necessarily , like the post was stated it got detected not because how we used it.

These theories must be great entertainment for the developers. It's like someone going up to NASA and sharing their theory that the moon might be made of cheese, you are so far away from the truth it cannot even be called wrong.
