dont agree with monitoring , the only way i use bots is cr along with enyo , movement disabled , interupts disabled , click to move disabled , anything that benifits other players disabled , yet i still got banned , dont figure

Hater? I kind of agree with him. The guys here are going to want to keep this train rolling as long as they can for every penny they can squeeze out. Any excuses or story that helps them do that will be told.

I am actually more surprised at the fact of how many guys are saying its fine, and better luck next time. There is a difference between knowing full well botting is a risk to get banned, versus this...
so whats the diff between them you bot you take a risk they never claim that it is 100% safe and squeeze every cent out of us im pretty sure that the keys last a hell of a long time like 20 years long and with that key you get pretty dam good cr's and prfiles for free the only things you spend on are paid store shit and an account if you do get a ban . I for one think they guys do a dam good job with there shit so I feel a hell of a lot of cry babies and shit stirrers need to get off there high horse and realize you bot u take the risk of bans and either put up or shut up

@HB crew

I wonder, is this your honest consensus of what happened or just damage control at this point? I mean, how many banwaves can you sweep under the rug until your clientele will realise that Blizzard de facto, colourfully speaking, 'got you by the balls' and no matter what counter-measures, failed or not, Blizzard will do whatever they please. If this is an attempt at restoring Honorbuddy's credibility, i'll tell you i'm not convinced and i'm sure many more aren't convinced. At this point a better formulation would be: "On behalf of the HonorBuddy team we sincerely regret the recent event (bla bla bla)...We still have no idea what is going on....but as usual botting with our product is unsafe until further notice, use at your own risk".
they have always said use at own risk

Ok as I'm gathering my power this thread will be closed soon enough of this thread its useless now.

Yes ... Leveling a new toon !! If u see me walking (probably bottish) don't report me please lol ;-)

So are you going to run bots 24/7 to see what nails them down? I bet there is some new code in the data files that might just be producing the logs needed... The reason I say this is because when I saw the bans and the game "disconnected" itself from the server I had some files in the wow directory which were "locked" and wow.exe/wow-64 were not in the task manager, but it said wow was open... I thought to myself HOW ODD is that?!!!

Maybe this helps, but behaviors are everything with bots. And honestly HB is kinda about 5 years ago in it's entirety for logic and not looking like a bot. I notice that bots will "skip/lag" when they move... I can spot them being a botter myself previously. I bet you money that those data/indices files that were locked were part of the ban I experienced... Run that along with an alert system for the GM's and you have yourself one killer cache log to look through and undoubtedly begin a ban against the said account.

Was thinking about this last night.
I doubt if it's something in an individual routine but it may be useful to do a survey to try and find any combination that didn't get tripwired and banned.
My guess it's something common, maybe tripwire itself.
We know that non botters usually use 64 bit, so that reduces botters to 32 bit users.
We also know that tripwire does an immediate shutdown, most peeps do a 20s exit
So, perhaps if Blizz can cause a tripwire they can really narrow down potential botters.

THERE IS Software detect. Ive got ban on main account, which never used with bot, but two weeks ago i missed at selecting window, and binded hb to main. I didnt even launched that. But ban is here.

no we dont, just dont know what OS a "non botter" has, and if its not 64 bit then surprise: wow runs 32 bit

let me know if thats not correct - i thought even if you alt+f4 or terminate wow process it takes time for character to be shown as offline
the thing that you were about to say is probably that the tripwire stops looooads (as in loooads use hb :o) of wow clients at almost same time

I gues bot detection took place between 12/12/2015 and 12/14/2015.
All my accounts that created 12/14/2015 (and later) and immediately starts botting - are alive. Accounts suspended for 72h till 12/15/2015 - also alive.

Could be, I had 4/5 banned that I just bought over the course of a week, the account i got on the 11th escaped the Ban the other 3 before and one after all got the 6 month ban. All were botted around 8 hours a day mostly attended, using kicks to get them to 100 and then 5 man group all my bots randoms for a couple of days. No BGs and while they were in the "wild" questing I kept a pretty close watch on them to make sure hey weren't getting stuck or doing stupid things.

But meh, I knew the risk when I did it, i'll just buy 4 more and start up again once this blows over.

I had an account banned that I didn't even play on since it got unbanned so whats going on there?

Either way i'm done with this.

They're not forcing you to use their software go elsewhere.

Just my two cents

Indeed they don't and never did. But after 4 years of using it and writting profiles that I never sold, only shared I think I have the right to say what I think ;)

I wonder why I even reply to such a b**lsh*t 2 sentence answer...

Best gift in life is the ability to learn from mistakes as we All... do on a "DAILY" Thank you for all your hard work and effort to let us enjoy what we do Honorbuddys work force Merry Christmas

P.S. bought a few more accounts with a smile cause i knew risk from day one !

oh and would like to mention i been running it since 2011 this is my first time with a ban using there bot on 4 accounts 2 always running same time

Must be reading some tony robins or some other mad shit lol

I've been here longer than most on this forum. I lost 6 accounts, ALL of which I was willing to lose. Botting is against the terms of service, you had the choice to turn on the bot and use it just like I did. Out of the last 5 years since I used GB/HB I've only seen this kind of banwave 3 times and this isn't the biggest. I fully trust and support the HB/GB team and will just buy new accounts and level bot them up again in no time at all. This was a human error and shit will happen.

Xarian, I am sorry you're upset but the fact remains. They were honest with the responses they provided. That's all one can ask for.

Ok so how many accounts of wow are you going to buy me for this mistake? Kappa

Joking obviesly, honesty is one of the most valuable things, and its good to see that you guys are our friends in this community and not just costumers, said that, we will see you in 6 month and hopefully with legion almost there...

Cheers guys!
