Am I the only one who just got banned right now?

got hit with 6 month. US botting maybe 2-4hrs a day or every other day. mostly fishing and pets. and using a CR for guild raids
 
I think these 6 months bans are in preparation for the wow token coming out soon but also once the 6 month ban is up 6.2 is probably be around the corner or just have come out and will boost sub numbers that will be low by then.
 
i dont think it useing the cr gets u banned i was useing kicks on my priest to do some questing and then i got the ban us server
 
i was only using the combat routine when i got dced and banned-i was not using kicks and i was online when the tripwire went off
 
I appealed immediately and few hours later here's their reply:

guess iam going to get the same will see when i get the email lol looks like we all going to get the hammer for 6months
 
Then screw this crap. The game isnt worth it anymore in my oppinion.
 
Pure speculation, but I would not presume that the actions you were doing at the time of the ban was the cause. I would guess they have been watching and monitoring your behavior for a period of time.

Definitely, because I was playing regularly for hours, then just kicked out & banned. lol

Lol, no mate. Even during tripwire there were hundreds of people whining, this is just 1 thread with 4 pages of people who got routine bans. Don't do risky stuff and you won't be banned.
 
Update...After speaking with a couple of reps about why i was actually being suspended for I got this response.
Your account has been suspended due to the use of unauthorized third-party programs which violated our Terms of Use.

lol how could running a combat routine (demonic premium) in a raid be considered risky behavior-im at a loss to explain how i was singled out

It does suck. They put us in the exploiting category, I might as well have been making 100k gold a day and selling it. Instead of just leveling a few toons lol
 
the 6 month thing is fucking bizarre. NEVER heard of it. brand new thing.

the fact it's happening to people just using CRs in raids is bad news as well.
 
Okay so this is my secound ban... i know that when you get the 1st ban Blizz will flag your account... but if u created a new B.net account and rebuy WoW will i still be flagged ? do they flag IP address or simple the B.net account if you already got ban ? Thanks

Were you raiding when tripwire went off?
 
If you ask me,this warrants an investigation by the buddy team its not everyday that we get this kind of threads,y' all agree right otherwise we might be screwed and we still dont know,till we bot 9 accounts and then got banned.
