Am I the only one who just got banned right now?

Lucky me, my internet went out last night while quest botting, & did not come back on until after patch. I was reading about all these ban & was freaking out the whole time the servers were down. I just got a chance to log in & everything was good. *Thanks the internet Gods*
 
I think i was lucky too i do on propouse get banned for language on chat in-game i got banned the two days of the ninja patch, why i do this bcos i need to study LoL
 
I'm telling you if you are just using CR's then you are not at risk if you control your movement. Most of you saying that is all you use i find it highly unlikely maybe you used a farming profile at one point that put you on the map or used the dungeon finder either way using garrison buddy by yourself would mean blizz has some sort of system to detect players using a second program and they would have to sort through thousands of players using different crap. I'm telling you the only way you are getting caught is by other botters who are using the same profile or common bot movement that a normal player can pick up on you wont be getting banned if you are by yourself botting in your garrison or using a combat routine but controlling your movement.
Either way dont use the lfr dungeon tool who ever scripted it used a path that is way off course then just following the tank if i was a average person i could tell it was a bot. Very risky just use a cr and control the movement yourself.

Wild guess, but do the Garrison bots use Click to move like regular questing/BG farmer bots? I would imagine that ANY of the bots with HB controlled movement would be just asking for a ban once Blizzard started checking. Those coordinated pathways for days on end are GOING to leave a very, very obvious trail.

The PQR banwave was mostly a result of the PQI addon being added to some of the more popular profiles. Xelper himself said he was surprised no one saw how dumb that was using it, because it more or less flashed a giant "I AM BOTTING" message to blizzard every time people swapped between the features. PQR was around for a LONG time and PQI combined with player reports was what did a lot of people in. The PvErs got mostly 72 hour bans, while the PvPers (mainly people who started using it in Arenas and RBGs heavily) got perma bans.
 
Maybe its the way HB disconnects people that is the problem (just speculation of course). The reason I think this is because I was actually raiding when tripwire went off, I saw that it went off so I dc'd before it had a chance to do it for me, I signed back on to check and see if I was correct in seeing the message and saw that it was in fact a tripwire event, I dc'd myself and my wow by alt+F4 and exiting out of vent 30 seconds later to act as if my net went out. No bans yet.
 
All im saying is that the movment the bot does is a huge botter sign. the path's that are set up are not ones a normal person would take or the stat stop movement they do is also a sign. Like i said be careful and move your alt yourself unless farming a remote island somewhere.
 
I also got a 6 month WoW vacation this afternoon.

Let me be clear here....either Blizzard knows how and when we are botting and is banning select accounts as they see fit....or I'm the unluckiest chap out there.

In the past 2 months, I have only botted in my garrison. I've only used GarrisonButler with no other plugins, and Singular as the CR. I have not posted any auctions, not sold or traded any items gathered in my garrisons, and this cannot be understated...have not used HB in any other way, shape, or form AT ALL. I use HBRelog to run HB ONCE a day as it cycles through all 11 of my characters, doing the garrison chores, then I'm done for the day.

So at least in my case, throw out the idea that I was reported..or that I flooded the AH with ores and herbs...or that I sold gold or gave it away. I have had very little time for WoW the past few months, and all I've been doing is botting within my garrison walls.

So explain that.

IMO Blizzard either can detect HB, or they have some other system of flagging accounts when it detects bot activity.
 
Calm down, "other bot" users also received 6month ban. It is 100% NOT HB since Im running bot 10-12h/7d for past months in instances. You did some mistake - 6month ban.
 
My wow is still fine. I logged in during the TW event and got kicked instantly. Also buddy Dev's have already said the 32bit detection is not an issue they are concerned with.

Does GarrisonButler use HB controlled movement aka click to move through pre-set coordinates within any Garrison? If so, that's your answer. Same with the people who get banned using Gathering profiles. If it's a standard profile that many people use, all with the same coordinates, that's pretty easy to filter when actual bans come around.
 
I was playing with my son tonight, each of us on one of my 5 linked accounts (US), and I received a notice that another of those accounts got a 6 month ban. That account had the LEAST HB activity on it of all of my accounts. The last time I used HB on it was a few days ago to do the Harrison Jones quest. I do not use Dungeonbuddy, Garrison helpers, haven't used AutoAngler in weeks and then only for about an hour at a time.

I haven't been in a raid in 3 weeks, and on that particular account it's been more like 3 months. I've been pet battling with the very excellent ProstoPets, but not on THAT account. Again, I am only ever online about 1-2 hours at a time. I have no auctions. I do not farm dungeons. I have been running Questing with my RAF account but again, not on THAT particular account.

Therefore, what I can conclude is that this ban is fairly RANDOM and it is something bizarre that Blizzard has decided to interpret as inappropriate activity. I cannot even begin to think what that might be. I babysit my accounts when running HB, and monitor chat in case another player talks to me. I think Blizzard is taking a lot of shots in the dark, knowing that people cannot argue with them. Of all my accounts to lose temporarily, that one is the least important.

You made logging pattern, activity pattern or any other form of detectable patterns that can be used to detect botting activity on Blizz end without even touching your PC with warden. Detection of bot is not limited to your PC and detection of HB.
 
i bought honor buddy march 19th. bot quests onoly for 3 days on and off and i got banned anyway. so i emailed this company a nasty gram and they banned my email and honor buddy account so i cant even use it now anyway lol. what a shitty way to do business. tomorrow i will notify my credit card company that this was fraudulent and get my money back anyway. Its just the principal of the whole thing. figured id let you guys know on here how shady this company is be careful
 
Yeah I got the lifetime a few days before ban too. But i'll not ask for a refund. I'd rather find a way to use it for profit on a new account.
