I think the reason why people think this is dead is because there hasn't been much discussed in public about this in the last 4 months. Going out on a limb here, but that's something I would call a dead project as well.
Then let's discuss it!

However, that was the point of my post to let people know it's not dead. Discussion below
Not trying to call you out or be a pain in the ass, but just calling a duck a duck. If I had the knowledge to help with the behaviors, I would.
Quest behaviors suck ass. I know nothing about scripting and plugin writing or lua and am doing this by hand to make sure as I go I'm doing it right. Which is why nothing is released yet.
Any thoughts on when people can expect to see anything for testing, or otherwise?
Testing: Initially I was going to use the default quest behaviors. I'm not now. I'll tell you why. ex- Human starting area bot runs. When doing quests it runs within 1 cm of the wall returning to the quest giver, gets stuck a couple of times then jumps over the bush. Any class. That needs to be fixed. That's just -one- pathing behavior. Turning in certain quests triggers auto returns and accepts so fast the bot doesn't see it. Things like that have to be looked at individually from every zone and quest and quest giver in the game. Remember I have to script equipping bags ( yes I know other people have written plugins ), using BoA's, going back at 90 and doing it all on a flyer, ground mount support, walking support. When i have a single zone done in alpha to my standards as in the whole zone the way i want it to look, you'll know. I'll release it to test and -that- zone will be bug tested the shit out of.
Some people, if they are like me, have been waiting to see something like this and have opted not to start on something similar in hopes of not putting in all this effort on multiple fronts and only have people use one of them after they are done; I'm sure you'd hate to put in all this effort for someone to release the same thing and have people focus on only using theirs instead of yours.
This is going to sound like I'm being an ass, I'm not, I'm not doing this for money, or likes, or rep, I'm doing this because I want to. I don't care what other people do for profile releases. I'm doing this on my time. I don't have to do anything at all, i just chose to share this idea, concept and possible fruitition with the community as a whole. I'll release it when i think it's ready to be released as something I would use on my own computer, and account. I'll take the hit to pride if I have to say I can't finish it, but if it's 1 day or 1 year, as long as I'm doing it I'll try to keep everyone up to speed on the development.
To end this on a positive note, I'm really looking forward to this and don't feel like you can't reach out to the community for assistance. I'm sure many people would love to help if they could.
I think I worded it wrong so let me word it a little better, that way there is no confusion.
The quest behaviors, while much better then they were before are a big fat brick wall. I am scavenging other peoples codes ( and yes keeping a list ) to see what works and what doesn't. As i pile in code and then test it myself ( I have a very high standard ) I try to iron out kinks that won't crash the client or look bot like. Once that part is done, I try to make it afk-able.
First: Afk-able + not bot like + smoothness =/= easy
Second: The scripting sometimes has to be done in a specific order otherwise it crashes the bot.
Third and everything else: I would LOVE to hand off testing to people, but I can't at this point. I'm doing this in my spare time. When it's done, it's done
So... here's where I'm at currently. I know what I want, I have the lists ( achievements per zone, metas per zone, creatures per zone, items per zone, etc ), the paths I want to take ( not what the bot wants ), the quest orders which "make sense", the -non- grinding approach, the call outs to do the lists above, the commands needed for those call outs, now i just need a proper quest behavior.
The quest behaviors are taking a long time. there's nothing I can do about that. Until I feel the quest behaviors are reliable, afk-able, and non-bot-like I won't release anything.
If you look at my Kunlai profile for snowlilys... just a gathering profile....took about 3 weeks to get the kinks out. Easy to make, use etc. 3 weeks. Now multiply a bit in terms of kinks. All I can say is be patient
i will definitely ask for help when it comes time to test.
