It makes sense and cents for Blizzard as a business to create less profitable game sinks for the gamers, i.e a stick is disguised as a carrot.
So what you can do is to cash out your higher MP gear and downgrade to lower MP and use the cash to buy more bots.
Right, if you can't 1-3 shot everything and not die then you need to stick to MP0.You should have tried mp0 you'll be surprised at how much better it is. I have 5 bots running mp0.
what?
Using MP1-10 is only effective as long as your not dying and killing as fast as MP0.
Basically you need better gear.
I'm botting, what would I need mp1 or higher for. Mp0 is still the fastest.
Elmo thats not true.. dunno if u readed other post but something weird happens at high MP.. i generate 900 items per hour at mp5 vs 600 in mp0 (with 500m geared WW barb) but in the end it always picks less items per hour on mp5 (like 93 items vs 60 or like) its something weird.. u generate more items per hour but more shit at high MP..

When a monster dies, the first thing we do is decide whether it's going to drop loot at all.
Most monsters -- like say your everyday shambling zombies -- have a roughly 30% chance to drop loot. The exact percentage, however, varies from monster to monster (for example, the Tormented Stingers in Act III have a much lower chance because they spawn in large packs and are easy to kill).
When you kill a monster in Inferno on MP1 or higher, if you pass the initial roll to obtain loot, you will also get a second roll to get an additional piece of loot. The "bonus item" chance for each MP level is detailed here. A few monsters are exempt from the bonus loot, but we tried to put it on the vast majority of normal monsters, and will probably add it to more if we like how the system plays out.
Also, just to be clear, the bonus drop applies to Normal monsters only. We wanted Monster Power to provide players with extra loot rolls, and (since Champions and Rares are already guaranteed to drop multiple items) Normal monsters seemed like the best place for us to add that mechanic in.
wheather or not mp effects the actual stats roll, regardless of ilevel.
You get 36% more bonus items - so your numbers makes complete sense.
The bonus item only applies to normal monsters.. So you won't get extra drops from champions/rares/bosses.
No, this is not true. 5 stacks of NV will guarantee rares. MF will not. This just shows that the impact of 5 NV stacks outweighs MF in terms of impact on converting items from white/blue to rare or legendary.
